All he did was quote something of Chris Cooley's blog.booker;2124554 said:I liked Breer when he first got to Dallas but then he started to resort to crap

Unfortunately it was a quote that needed to be left unquoted. Stupid question by CooleyDouble Trouble;2124555 said:All he did was quote something of Chris Cooley's blog.![]()
His articles weren't necessarily all that different from the others, but his blog entries, Tale of the Tape was his signature. Something that he brought with him from his Pats beat.bbgun;2124648 said:Honestly, when I read the blog, I don't bother to notice who wrote each blurb. He was known for breaking down film, right?

Not being funny, but what blog entries does Grizz write that are memorable? I mean the kind that are original and in-depth. I check out his blog, and their synopsis of the day's news, similar to the DMN's. The question is does he have the quals to handle reporting side and provide additional insight.percyhoward;2124652 said:They're not smart enough.
As for memorable blog entries, I actually prefer Vela as a "writer," but his accuracy doesn't compare to Grizz's. As far as insight goes, I don't think there's any doubt that he's qualified.WoodysGirl;2124653 said:Not being funny, but what blog entries does Grizz write that are memorable? He might be qualified. But the originality, as far as Tale of the Tape, is what made Breer standout. Grizz's training camp observations were bar none. However, I don't recall him providing any in-depth analysis of those observations. That's what would make me consider a good replacement.percyhoward;2124654 said:As for memorable blog entries, I actually prefer Vela as a "writer," but his accuracy doesn't compare to Grizz's. Media guys like Breer are few and far between. I wouldn't expect anything even close.percyhoward;2124662 said:WG, as long as it's someone of above-average intelligence who is a football junkie.
Exactly...football, please.WoodysGirl;2124664 said:...and not too interested in Tony and Jessica or other paparazzi stuff
I wouldn't either, that's why I hope it's not a "traditional" media guy.theogt;2124666 said:Media guys like Breer are few and far between. I wouldn't expect anything even close.
