Really, you coming with that. It seems that the union voted to accept the cap. Why would any business pay out more in expenses than it sees in revenues. What businesses have you started and ran successfully? No business owner runs a business for long that doesn't make money on the bottom line. No player has to accept a salary he doesn't want to. He can forgo football in the NFL and look for one of those hourly wage jobs no one else wants to take.
That's reasonable. Players should refuse the limited offered salary. Great argument.
Who's asking the poor owners to accept running a business at a loss? No one suggested that because it is dumb. They are not even close to running their business at a loss. They are fleecing the players who are the product and the labor. They can do so because they have the money to miss a season and survive partially due to tv contracts that insulate them and partially due to the sheer amount of wealth they have accumulated. It goes on throughout society. Somehow some agree with it.
The salary cap is anti capitalism. You should know that. They love capitalism when they are the capitalizers. Not so much when others try to capitalize.
They also love the socialized stadiums that they have built for them partially through political connections and partially by taking advantage of some taxpayers love for the team they grew up with. They then use those peoples feelings and desires as leverage to get funding from them or another city. I'm sure the city makes money. However, cities like St. Louis are still paying for their stadium with no team. Nice.

Keep cheering them on. It's very productive. For them.
