Whatever team he goes to the QB normally has their best year, regardless of the distractions, if I'm A QB trying to get Paid, I want TO.......

It'll work man. Trent Edwards is an average QB that's young, getting better, and rarely turns the ball over. There will be much reaction on this board as the usual suspects do everything in their power to downplay and criticize the move. All that said, TO will be fine this year with his new team. I wish him the best.

Throwing for 4170 yards ....his next best was throwing for 4023 yrds in 93 with the great Jerry Rice at the young age of 32

btw...Young did play with Owens .....but Young was 35 yrs old in 96 and left the game because of concussions issues at the age of 38 in
1999

No one is putting down T.O.'s skills, the man is a HOF receiver, but his mouth isn't worth the production.

He still stretched the field and made great runs for us, but he's on the decline. Reduced production isn't worth 9mil a year and his mouth.

TO has slowed down of late but he's been an elite WR the majority of his career. Elite WRs make life easier for QBs. A great WR will raise the level of play of an already good/great QB - and vice-versa. Steve Young had a near perfect season - if not several - with Jerry Rice. Peyton Manning had his best years with Marvin Harrison in his prime. Tom Brady threw for like 20,000 yds after NE signed Randy Moss.

The situation in Buffalo is different because TO while good is no longer great, and Trent Edwards at best is an average QB.
