All Day Game Thread

If the Cowboys end up locking up homefield early expect to hear all kinds of talk of how to handle the end of the season. Will this backfire? Can they flip the switch back on in the playoffs. That sort of thing.

It would probably be used as an excuse if they lose in the divisional round.

Stupid Chargers.....Stupid Chargers....San Diego Stupid Chargers always choke.....

Washington has their work cut out with 1:56 left to play needing a TD and a two point conversion just to send the game into OT.

Like our own Mr. Prescott said after the Steelers game, that's a lot of time when you still have your timeouts.

They need to keep playing as if they didn't clinch anything. The Cowboys haven't won anything in 20 years. They need to keep acting like it.

That's how I'd handle it. I might even play the starters the entire game in the finale. Didn't Belichick do that before? Keep the pedal down.

And down the field Washington goes.

That's why you run clock instead of going for a quick TD.

Playoffs!

IMO, if we clinch after next week, then keep the starters going for at least a half in the next two games....then use Romo against both Tampa and Detroit, shake off the rust. Then, against the Eagles, start Sanchez, with Romo as the backup, and only bring him in if Sanchez is hurt. Maybe, you start Dak against the Eagles, just to keep up the mindset of the team, but pull him early and put in Sanchez.
