Then root for the Dallas to lose at Washington (like they did last season) and Philadelphia to beat New York.
Cowboys drop to the 5th seed - thus repeating their playoff path from a year ago - go on the road to play the NFC South Division winner (Buccaneers \ Falcons \ Saints)
No way. I want the 2nd seed. Preference is Vikings , Seattle , No

Vikings down 17-3 right now - and play at Detroit next week.
Seahawks' loss earlier today has them clinging to the last playoff spot - yet their season finale is at the 49ers.
So MIN and SEA likely don't get in.
Saints somewhat impressive with their road win against the Bucs - and they host the Falcons in their last game.
So...the 7th seed = Cowboys' wildcard opponent could come down to New Orleans (you like) -- or Green Bay (host Chicago for their last game).
As for me - I don't care garners the 7th seed and is the Cowboys' wildcard opponent.

From 2 minutes ago....Why is NBC still showing Seattle as the 7 seed? Shouldn't it be saying GB/Minn winner?
Despite the loss, SEA is 8-8..while both GB and MIN are both 7-8 until tonight's game has concluded.
No matter who wins tonight (GB up 23-3)...the 7th\last postseason berth is going to be determined next weekend.
SEA 8-8, conference record 6-5
GB-MIN winner will be 8-8, conference record 6-5
NO 8-8, conference record 5-6
TB 8-8, conference record 6-5.
What those four teams do in their season finales is the key (also keep in mind -- ARI, ATL and CHI are in play to muck it up ---
SEA @ ARI
CHI @ GB
ATL @ NO
also add CAR - they host TB
And that without looking at whether those teams had head-to-head matchups earlier this season.

WELL...the final NFL game in 2023 appears to be a wrap.
After this is over, the league will put the days and times for the last 16 matchups of the season.

Hawks and Packers didn't play. They'll have the same conference record of both win. What's next strength of victory?

More scared of the rams.
Here is the thing. If we win next week and the Packers win next week but the Rams lose to San Fran, the Rams are our first round opponent according to the ESPN playoff machine

Love with 34 TDs (30 passing, 4 rushing) vs 11 INTs so far in his first season as a starter. A bit surprising.

Looking at the ESPN league playoff standings tabulation - the strength of schedule percentage column is placed before the strength of victory percentage column.
