This reference may be helpful (or not) for any quarterback discussions concerning how many games oh no! not the team! just them! they won or loss.

Quarterbacks, who played all or part of their career with Dallas, are highlighted in red.

But that doesn't mean we can't have a discussion you do realize that right this place is a discussion board therefore when we see something and we decide to put our own twist on it that is what's gonna happen 'cause it triggers me when I see records being put on a quarterback especially the most hated ones to ever come across the NFL's rosters would be Romo and Prescott the most controversial talked about quarterbacks ever and they keep hanging all the negatives on them I'm definitely gonna come in and say something...

You are correct. This is a discussion board. Members create posts. Posts are constructed with periods. Sentences. Paragraphs.

Here is a confession. I created this thread as a reference for all the nick-picking occurring each week about inappropriately assigned win/loss records.

The nick-picking will never stop. However, members have a handy resource now to FLESH out all the nick-picking they could ever want!

Now, it is no longer necessary to simply type Dak's or even Romo's! NOW people can go HOG WILD! There is over a HUNDRED of those win/loss suckers to slip into the madness!

Heck. It's like MARCH MADNESS but instead lasts all year long! Ain't life grand? Text talk me, BLUE! :yourock:

My friend. You fascinate me sometimes. Can I... ask you to stop a moment and consider reading below what I stated in the OP?

Does the red highlighted portion above indicate anything to you? Perhaps... maybe... sarcastically refer to a team record being applied to an individual player (something I have mentioned ad nauseam in this forum for years)? Just curious.
Our fanbase is too funny.

Steve Walsh and Randall Cunningham played for the Cowboys, though not in the playoffs.
I assume your list included every quarterback who actually played in a playoff game no matter how much he contributed because Rodney Peete threw two incomplete passes and no completed ones.

Quarterbacks, who played all or part of their career with Dallas, are highlighted in red.
What's the exact criteria to be highlighted red?

Is it a specific percentage of their NFL career started games?

Just wondering the threshold after noticing a few players that have started more games for the Cowboys than Brad Johnson, but are not highlighted red: Andy Dalton, Drew Bledsoe, Jon Kitna, Matt Cassel, Vinny Testaverde, etc.

And would have 5 Super Bowl appearances if not for Dee Ford jumping offsides on a fourth down play against the Patriots.

I'm not knocking @DallasEast because this is a great list and a thread talker. :)

Quarterbacks must have been the game starters of any particular playoff game during their career. Stathead.com (oops! I forgot to cite them earlier) notes total playoff games any quarterback was on the roster but only assigned wins or losses for their team if they were the starter.

Highlighted players were the starter of a minimum of one playoff game during their career as a Dallas Cowboy:

Starter Brad Johnson was Tony Romo's backup in 2007 13-3 NFC Divisional round loss and only played three regular season games in 2008's 9-7 regular season/non-playoff season.
Starter Andy Dalton played for 6-10 Dallas in 2020
Starter Drew Bledsoe played for 9-7 and not playoff bound Dallas in 2005 but was the backup to Romo in 2006's wild card loss to Seattle
Starter Jon Kitna started mid-way in 2010 (Romo's broken left collarbone/Wade Phillips swan song 6-10 season) but was Romo's backup in 2011 8-8 non-playoff season
Starter Matt Cassel played 2015 (Romo's broken left collarbone again), which ended 4-12
Starter Vinny Testaverde played for Bill Parcells' 6-10 season

None of the above got the red highlighted treatment for that reason :)

Only Dallas quarterbacks, who started ANY playoff games for Dallas, were highlighted red:

Steve Walsh started five games during 1989's 1-15 season
Randall Cunningham started three games during Dave Campo's first 5-11 season in 2000

:)

@Juggernaut and @tyke1doe , I edited the OP to state: "Quarterbacks, who were starters in Dallas playoff games during all or part of their overall career, are highlighted in red." That may make it a bit clearer. Thanks for the catch.
