Best math you'll ever read, my man.

(Actually, being out here on the road, I have come really close to buying WoW).

I've heard that Oblivian is pretty good. Don't have a 360 yet so I won't be trying it out anytime soon.

I started playing again (semi-pro) about 2 years ago. The one thing I've noticed is that it's really helped me keep my temper in check. It's been a very good stress relief for me.

Haven't you noticed I haven't attacked any morons here in a long time? Now you know why.

Although lately my patience has been tested. And we have a bye week this week so I may not be able to take my anger out on anyone else for awhile. I may just end up going off on one of these guys pretty soon. :bang2:

You play FB, right?

You nailed it Dale ..I understand the criticism of TO but this pious "moralism" to ground why we should not have signed TO is absurd. Further, the entire local media are like vultures on attack and are spewing nonsense to shape general fan perspective with their own gross bias.

They either choose to ignore or recontextualize our own history on such matters and overstate the case ad naseum to gain support for their agenda's. Even in critical analysis one must be sure to ALSO be self-critical of one's own presuppositions or credability is simply thrown out the window.

One can accurately argue for concern without employing mental gymnastics to ground moral reasons why Dallas should not have signed TO. Further, one could simply qualify serious concerns without attempting to ground the objection in a sport that celebrates joyfully its superstars while often ignoring their indiscretions that are morally detestable in a civil context.

At least to me, the venomous and uncritical reflections we are reading from the local Dallas market is not only unified in vision and scope but does have agenda written all over the matter. If not, then they could simply qualify, avoid overstatements and ambigious "moralism" while being honest about their concerns and preferences.

If someone wants to argue to the contrary, provide me with several samples of anything positive on the matter without the monomania with the negative. If this were simply just a small sample of the local product then there would be no questions on the matter but it appears to be most of the whole. Further, no one is arguing you have to follow the opposite of uncritical praise for signing TO with not one mention of substantial concerns on the issue. That would be the polar opposite but the same philosophical problematic as its counterpart. The avoidance of the either/or fallacy could be helpful in this context to avoid more logical fallacies on both ends.

For me I want to win. And I will gamble with a great player every time. The object is to WIN. I don't care what other fans say about me, I don't care about what some freak talk show says about me, I have the right to my opinion and my opinion is, I want to win.

I was so upset that we didn't draft MOSS, I could hardly talk. If I knew we could give up 3 1st round picks, I would give them up for Brady or Peyton Manning. The Commanders take risks, no matter what you say about them, they try to do everything in their power to win, and that's how Jerry is.

It's obvious it's a conservative risk if you ask me, because TO does not hold leverage in this deal, the boys do. I don't think TO is dumb enough to blow his last opportunity not only for a great paycheck, but for his legacy to be a good one. Rosenhaus is smart enough to brief TO on the fact that he can make more than that 25 million in Commercials and what not if he can just control himself.

I went on record before as stating that TO was the player i hate most in the NFL. But i would say a lot of that was because he was so good and so cocky and played for the eagles and 49ers, the 2 teams i despise.

He'll always be cocky, arrogant, but now he'll be scoring TD's for the Boys and dominating other teams dbacks. Doesnt mean i'm going to go buy a TO jersey (actually i wouldnt spend 80 bucks for anyone's jersey). But to be honest, the way everything has worked out, i think he is a good fit for this team at this time. I think things will really work out given the following circumstances

1) he's getting paid like the best wr in the NFL
2) owner JJones and coach parcells will know how to work with him better than a lot of others
3) The QB wont be battling with him for the title of "who runs the show" in dallas. I really think bledsoe just wants to go out a winner, no ego trips or head games for him.
4) We really dont have any other flashy, superstar type players on offense, just a bunch of young guys trying to establish their nfl carreers with a few veterans who want to win now.

5) the exception to #4 might be T Glenn and Witten because they are already established as great players, but they are both more low profile guys who avoid the spotlight and both will benefit from having TO on the team.

So i am happy with the TO signing. I really dont see what he would start something over, unless the team just comes out and starts losing, then he may start pointing fingers, but with our talent and parcells coaching philosophy were team is stressed over individual stats, i dont see that taking place.

So maybe im wrong and he blows up at the end of this year or next year. Parcells will probably just have him cut, and what have we lost - Keyshawn, who would have probably not played with this team after this year anyway, some of Mr Jones' money ? Its not like we traded a great player or draft pic to get him, and then if we cut him were going to be like "oh man, who's going to play wr now".

Right, and since most people who respond to polls and feedback are complaining about something, this even proves the point even more.

I'm sorry, but I hate Buddy Ryan more than any sports player or coach in ANY league, but if he's hired by the Cowboys, I'll still root for the Cowboys. I won't root for Buddy Ryan but I'll root for the Cowboys.

All of these so-called fans who say they're no longer Cowboys fans or going to root "against" the Cowboys are nothing more than hot air looking for a place to vent. The season is months away from starting and it's VERY easy to say whatever you want right now.

I guarantee you that almost every one of those people turning on the Cowboys now will be all excited if/when the Cowboys start winning games.

I'm not a fan of T.O. at all nor did I want him signed .. I just didn't want him on any other NFC East team .. that was my only wish. However, he's here .. like it or not .. he's here ..

We can gripe all we want, that's our right as fans, but I will never stop being a Cowboys fan and I will never root against the Cowboys.

I'm a life-long Cowboys fan and I will always be one. Period.
