All or Nothing : Lewis vs Dez scene

When I first saw the clip that was going around ( I believe a twitter video) it looked like Lewis was getting the best of Dez.
When you can see the event in it's entirety, Dez schooled the young guy. It was pretty cool to see the battle.
So, as much as I think Dez is a dumbie, he won that round.
If I were to criticize Dez for anything it was letting that get in his head so much that he couldn't focus on what JG was talking about after the drill. Instead he was pacing around the whole group not engaged.
But whatever.

And a poster here called Dez’s reaction a “positive”. SMDH!

Also yes Dez won on the second rep but Lewis won the first. So that’s a 50/50 split so I wouldn’t really call it Dez schooling him.

its like you people have too much free time, you start making up cringe-worthy words lmao. Any Cowboy's fan who refers to fellow fans as, "Dezzies", "Dakies", "Romies", ect., really have too much free time lmao.
If that makes you cringe I suggest a cry closet when the bad man says hurt words.
Dezzies illustrates those who think he walks on water and will defend every criticism to the death and call it "passion and being competitive."
There, now you know.

Huh? Dez clearly won the battles. Like to see the fire and fight out of the rookie, but to say that Dez got “punked” is pretty funny. Then again, I’m pretty sure it could have been a video of Dez helping an old lady cross the street and you would have found a major negative about it.

If Dez was a clear winner he would not have been stalking around behind the team huddle long after it was over.

He's competitive!

(Some D-bag saying you must not have played sports in 3..2..1..)

Dez was who he always is, Lewis didn't get under his skin. Ya'll be doing the most to spite 88
A lot of confirmation bias going on here.

I've only watched 2 episodes so far but all I've seen is a guy who is extremely motivated, wants to win, and challenges his teammates and coaches. The coaches were griping about him in episode 2 for the dropped passes and not always going full speed, which is a problem, but the WR coach isn't here anymore. Would have been curious to see how a new coach would have worked with Dez.

As critical as I've been of Jason Garrett, he and Dez seemed to have genuine respect and affection for each other. Maybe I'll see it as I finish watching the episodes, but I'd be curious to know when their relationship fell apart.

And to all the fans who say defenses don't respect him, I guess the Cardinals always have Patrick Peterson shadow guys they don't respect/fear.

Lewis got in Dezs head then Dez went and totally owned Lewis in that 1 on 1 still.

I’m a huge Lewis fan but saying he punked Dez just isn’t true. I go by actions not words that were said
No, those drills with no pass rush and no Safety have and expectation of the WR catching the ball within a short timeframe. ANY WR can win with enough time. A High School WR could beat an NFL DB if he could just zigzag around the field with no time limit.

Parcells would stand behind the QB counting out load and would blow the whistle at 3 seconds.

It took 5 or 6 seconds for Dez to catch a 10 yard pass. In the early part of practice Dez only won by pushing off.

Just the way Lewis, a rookie, got under the Skin of an 8 year veteran was a huge win for Lewis.

If I get hired at your workplace and within a short time get you to have a meltdown in front of people where you've worked for 8 years, then I've won.

You’re a Dez hater but you have a point here. I never seen somebody destroy another person in sports and be so intense afterwards. I’ve seen it after fights but not a wr/db practice rep lol

The only team that will sign Dez isn't in the NFL. It's at his home. It's called the couch. That's where dez will be at all season.
There is 100% no way Dez is not on a roster by begining of season !

No one is afraid of Dez Bryant ..................... unless
  • they have to tackle him in the open field with a head of steam
  • the offense is on the 12 yard line
He hasn't been able to beat coverage on any consistent basis for a few years, but credit where credit is due on the two bullet points.

I wouldn’t consider what Dez had as a meltdown. That was purely competitive banter between two guys trying to get theirs. I don’t care that Jourdan got Dez mad all that did was result in Lewis getting mossed and a ball thrown at him in front of everyone

Some people have Dez blinders.

Dez was the one pacing and ranting while everyone else was in the team huddle. He was not fist pumping like somebody that had won a contest.

Two months ago did you think Dez would have to wait weeks before signing with another team if he was cut by the Cowboys?

Yep. He is indeed one bold beast of a corner. & he is only going to get better.

Yup, he's ferocious! In fact, I agree with what you said earlier, I think his potential gives him the ability to be BETTER than Norman. As of now, I see him as similar to Norman, but, if he keeps working at his craft, I could see him being better. He might be the CB we've needed for a LONG time, and to think that we got him for a 3rd round is impressive.
