All or Nothing : Lewis vs Dez scene

Why do you feel the need to lie? The last post before this it was "5 or 6 seconds to catch a 10 yard pass." Now he was ranting around the huddle. Both demonstrably false statements. Not surprising coming from you, but C'mon man!

I think we all know someone here who has blinders on when it comes to Dez (hint: look in the mirror).

Are you claiming he didn't pace around the huddle ranting ?

I personally didn’t think we would cut him period. He could’ve signed but he wants what he wants which seems to be the giants. I don’t think they’ll sign him
The original story was that he wanted a 1 year deal and therefore turned down a 3 year deal from the Ravens.

Does that make sense to you?

Teams would prefer a 1 year deal for 30 year old player. They said the offer was similar to what Crabtree received. Crabtree got 13M guaranteed and 7M average. If the Raven offered that to Dez, they almost certainly would have offered him 1 year, 7M or even more because the risk is still well below the 13M guaranteed.

The reports about that offer all seem to link back to Ian Rapoport...

I had in mind that Rapoport was the guy that guaranteed there was a Dez video but after googling it I see it was Adam Schefter.

What I didn't realize was that all 3, Mike Florio, Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter said there was a video.

Rapoport released the police report.

Florio triggered the media frenzy when he said on air that there was a video.

Schefter amplified the story when he guaranteed the video existed.

Schefter never made any such guarantee.

Regardless if Lewis was scared or not....Dez beat him badly on that rep!!!! Watching Dez's reaction after the rep you would have thought he lost. If that was me I would let the rookie talk mess because he LOST. A person that loses that still talks mess looks stupid. Lewis looked stupid talking mess but Dez looked even worse winning the rep but getting all in his feelings like he had just gotten beat.

Alleged video of Dallas Cowboys' Dez Bryant exists, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter

This is repeatedly falsely used to say Schefter definitively said there is a video. He never does say that. He for damn sure doesn't make a guarantee.

For anyone trying to make this a beef between the two Lewis actually showed Dez support after he was released, players like Dez respect players like JL because they have no punk in them.
There was no real beef during the drill, though I can understand some fans not seeing it that way. I think they both beat the other and that's all it was.
The issue that some have is Dez pacing around the group as JG is talking after the drills were finished. It very well may have made no difference, but I can see that as a negative when the focus should be on the HC.

He guaranteed it exists.

He didn't guarantee he could get it.

While the supposed video has yet to surface, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter appeared on the Carmen and Jurko Show on ESPN 100 in Chicago on Monday, and reported that the rumored video exists. "I've been working on this since September," Schefter said. "It's taken up a lot of my time this season, I'll say that.

Oh look! It's the forum's token dictionary! ;)

You know what he means.

Oh, please do explain. The use of the word rant indicates he means rant. You live in a world where the use of words is supposed to mean "not words?" I mean, maybe you mean't "best poster" by "token dictionary?" Since we can just make up meanings for everything.

You don’t know anything about cornerbacks then. Lewis looked like a competitive cornerback not an idiot. You miss Claiborne putting his head down and tucking his tail?

Your quote is in no way shape or form a guarantee. This is a poor display of reading comprehension. He has been working on the story about the video for a long time. He never had enough evidence (ie proof of a video) to go forward. He never says there is a video, just that he's aware of it (the rumor/report) and has been working to track it (the video or information on it) down. This isn't difficult.

Btw, why do you continue to deflect and avoid dealing with facts?

The cut and paste skills are strong in this one.
