All or Nothing : Lewis vs Dez scene

Yup, he's ferocious! In fact, I agree with what you said earlier, I think his potential gives him the ability to be BETTER than Norman. As of now, I see him as similar to Norman, but, if he keeps working at his craft, I could see him being better. He might be the CB we've needed for a LONG time, and to think that we got him for a 3rd round is impressive.
I'm a fan of Lewis but it appears that Kris Richard sees him as the 3rd CB with Awuzie and Jones as #1 and #2.

Some people didn't like it when people said Lewis might be the slot CB, but that looks more likely with Kris Richard moving Jones to CB.

The caveat is that they might need Awuzie to also practice at Safety.

I think Awuzie looks better at safety imo. I think having Awuzie at FS, Byron at Slot, and Brown and Lewis on the outside would be better. Though, I trust Richard's judgement. Either way, I think Lewis is going to be excellent. If we need him more at slot, then so be it. I think he'll still be outstanding there.

Some people have Dez blinders.

Dez was the one pacing and ranting while everyone else was in the team huddle. He was not fist pumping like somebody that had won a contest.

Two months ago did you think Dez would have to wait weeks before signing with another team if he was cut by the Cowboys?

I personally didn’t think we would cut him period. He could’ve signed but he wants what he wants which seems to be the giants. I don’t think they’ll sign him

Lewis should be a decent starting CB but he’s not big or strong enough to check Dez. (This coming from a Dez hater)

50/50 whether he sticks outside. He’s a little fella without elite speed.

I am not sure why any player would be scared of Dez. He is just an obnoxious loud mouth.

Why do you feel the need to lie? The last post before this it was "5 or 6 seconds to catch a 10 yard pass." Now he was ranting around the huddle. Both demonstrably false statements. Not surprising coming from you, but C'mon man!

I think we all know someone here who has blinders on when it comes to Dez (hint: look in the mirror).

I saw that scene and laughed. I can't believe people expected Dez to act any other way. I like that Jourdan didn't take any of Dez's crap and didn't back down.

AON reinforced my blessing of Dallas releasing Dez. He was cancer personified.

How does it appear that way?

For anyone trying to make this a beef between the two Lewis actually showed Dez support after he was released, players like Dez respect players like JL because they have no punk in them.

I guess time will tell but there is no way he fell off that much where someone in this league wont make a play -

Lol the fact that no one is even in a rush says otherwise.

Even the bills or jets arnt even budging and their wideout squads were bottom feeders last season!

I think timing of his release played a lot into that if teams knew he would be available he would be gone already.

Regardless of timing he is still Dez Bryant right lol?

I guess owners are realizing that Bentleys are overrated and paying for the name aint worth it!

Man you really hate him - his stats even with all of the issues with drops are still good enough to make a roster - down the depth chart for sure but for a discounted price he is worth it for the right QB - if you dont think so that is just not realistic but either way i am done discussing this you know where i stand LOL

For the record your argument is also a losing one since baltimore would have signed him already if dez wasn't so blinded by his need for revenge !

You can always tell the cornballs who A.) never competed or B.) never spent enough time with the brothers. Nobody was under anybody's skin that was just two guys competing.
Great competition, but Dez definitely went over the line when he tried to head butt Lewis twice. Dez did lose his composure like it or not.

Hate is a strong word! I didn't think Dez lasting this long on the market would be realilty but it proved me wrong. And I don' consider it losing at all because if Dez was still big time, more than just Baltimore would have been knocking at his door.

I saw Dez get the better of him, but what was most glaring was a young DB could get under Dez's skin so easily. As a vet, you would think by now he would be able to control himself and just dominate with skill and experience.

That was probably the main narrative. Dez's inability to cope with his eroding physical talents. Happens to all of us but he melted down.
