Seymour was a 3-4 end in New England, a pretty good one.

between Cleveland and Oakland, we ought to be able to find another OLB or MLB who has produced and better than Carp. I'll be willing to give up a 4th rounder to get someone that may eventually take over for one of the ILB spots or OLB.

4th rounder to me is a big gamble. I rather pick up someone who has NFL experience and has shown some ability at this level.

I am actually one of the few who likes Rat at NT. But the additions of Rogers and Seymour would allow the Cowboys THREE catalytic d-lineman who could be moved around to create spectacular mismatches. All 3 are strong against the run and pass rushing beasts.

Besides Rogers is not a full time player, Rat would still get plenty of reps at NT. In fact, when they go to a 46 or under 4-3, Rat and Rogers would play DT with Seymour at strongside DE and Ware at weakside DE. That lineup would wreak havoc.

Again, this is pure dreamcasting_with the upcoming uncapped year, salaries be damned. Make a run for the SB NOW, figure out if you want to pay em or let em go AFTER WINNING THE RING. My thinking is Instead of looking to shore up a weakness, I would rather muscle up a strength. Even Hamlin can look like a pro bowler behind this front 7.
