If we assume the players were not happy with Linehan, then it would make sense that Moore wants to have some fun and loosen it up. He's a young OC, not much older than the players on offense and was aware of how frustrating it was last season and is trying to change the frame of mind. When he does things like this it also sends the messages that he's not uptight, the job isn't too big for him.
