Yes sirrie! Rico Gathers will use this offseason to learn new routes! Improve his blocking and improve his hands! This time we really mean it!
He will be all pro next year and will be our starting TE.
Why, because we want him to be good and I am sure this will be the case in 2019!
Step up! Step up!

Tell us why you think Rico will RULE IN 2019!!
He's young, he's tall, he's at 285 and from Baylor? Yes sir! From Baylor, where gentlemen are made!
Step up! Step up!
We got cotton candy, popcorn and pink limeade, fellas!

Got any offseason info on Rico, Greatest Show on Earth?

Would be nice to see him involved. 30 catches? in that neighborhood. Take a step forward. I know people love to rip him apart for some reason, but a player heading into year 4 who never played a down of collegiate football, he's on the right track. Meanwhile some players who have actually played in college and are drafted sooner take longer to develop. I'm just hoping he can contribute. Doesn't mean he'll be a superstar, but I think he can move the chains and be another option in the red zone etc. Specially with Cooper and Gallup and Zeke garnering attention.

We need Rico to play with 'Rico Suave' as the background music , if we can't make it to the NFC championship; at least we'll have that .

Who knows. Maybe the fact that he's on the verge of cutting cut and will have to impress this offseason will motivate him.

He was let down by our coaching staff.

A guy like Rico, changing sports, either he's a basketball player or an athlete. If he's an athlete, use his strengths and throw him to the wolves.

Sean Payton would have had this guy on field as a distraction if nothing else by end of year 1 and by end of year 2 he'd already know if Rico is Graham 2.0 or just a guy that should have went for the NBA.

But this is Dallas, so until you learn exactly how to do everything that JG has decided your position should do in the modern NFL, regardless of your own specific strengths and weaknesses, just get comfy on the bench.

Go be an athlete and run down the field and catch the ball if it comes your way. Or don't and we'll cut you after a while. Absolutely no reason for a guy to sit around this long and us still not have a clear idea of who he is or what he is capable of.

Send Rico to any of the 4 teams that made the championships ...

And let us enjoy seeing how a monster should be used . Garrett is just wasting talent .

We have to play him this season under a better playbook. He flashed enough to get him involved but I never considered Rico being even looked at under Linehan. When Rico was involved I didn’t think it was drawn up to put him in the best position to make a play based off his current abilities.

Stephen could cut or trade him but he’s not a cap threat.

Kid trained with the team for a few years and had some decent preseason plays and never really got a shot. Does he suck or are we not even trying.

Rico will not be on the team by training camp.

They won't cut him before the season. No reason to. You always need camp bodies.

But I'm not sure they cut him at all. He only has two accrued seasons. Usually you want to see it in a player's third season. For a guy who had zero football experience, you'd expect that to be pushed out. Good chance they give him another year.

Rico's chances were really hurt by the team moving on from Romo to Dak. Supposedly Romo worked Rico hard on the scout team in 2016, and they couldn't be stopped. Point guard Romo knew how to dish it to a big guy posting up in the paint. That's just not Dak's game.

Rico can still be useful to us as a blocker. I think he finally started taking blocking seriously this year, and made progress on it.
