Kid trained with the team for a few years and had some decent preseason plays and never really got a shot. Does he suck or are we not even trying.

Just not a good pro football player. To his credit, it appears that he has worked hard at it to give himself a chance. But it's not happening....at least not yet. Not every big athlete can just easily transition to professional football and have success after not playing competitively since grade school.

Who knows, perhaps he goes to a different team with new coaching and sees immediate progress.

Time to move on. Draft a TE in the 2nd-4th rounds to add to your depth chart.

Its just way over due time, to actually see potential talent actually utilized.
If you fail like our FB did this year, at least prove your failure during actual live game time playing time, not through 2nd hand media resources.
Why do we even roster a FB? He had a chance to make a red zone play and totally muffed the play, maybe that should have been Ricos debut?
Let Rico prove on the field that he deserves to be cut.

Can’t say I disagree. Was just odd after getting a shot in preseason and showing a little of the reason they were trying it. Now during the regular season he gets no shot. He is blocking good when he knows who is supposed to block. Heck I have seen Jarwin miss several assignments. One on the goal line that cost us a TD.
