Yes sirrie! Rico Gathers will use this offseason to learn new routes! Improve his blocking and improve his hands! This time we really mean it!
He will be all pro next year and will be our starting TE.
Why, because we want him to be good and I am sure this will be the case in 2019!
Step up! Step up!

Tell us why you think Rico will RULE IN 2019!!
He's young, he's tall, he's at 285 and from Baylor? Yes sir! From Baylor, where gentlemen are made!
Step up! Step up!
We got cotton candy, popcorn and pink limeade, fellas!

Got any offseason info on Rico, Greatest Show on Earth?
Rico and Matt Johnson! Two of the greatest Cowboy legends!

If Rico's jersey sells well enough , Jerry will offer him Tank money ...

Its not a about results here , ( see Garrett post season history )

Well, we kept Matt Johnson on the assumption of "potential" for how many years? We love us some potential. You don't need to produce results if you have potential. Or if you're a football "genius".

Not a single play drawn to take advantage of his strengths , it would seem ...
and that is why the NFC pro-bowlers only scored 7...….its a process, and until they learn to do it Garretts way...they block or ride the pine...…….rookie or Pro bowl.....it don't matter.

Worst thing for this kids development was being IR'd in 2017. Being IR'd meant no practice, no muscle memory, no live action within the confines of the team.

We need Rico to play with 'Rico Suave' as the background music , if we can't make it to the NFC championship; at least we'll have that .

I will never understand why SL couldn't put some end zone pass plays to get Rico the Ball and scoring TD's. Then the stadium could have erupted in the Rico Suave tune. The fans would have been Salsa Dancing the night away.

I was once on the Rico bandwagon. "Why don't they give this magnificent athlete a chance?" I said.
But when he dropped that easy pass against the Rams, that was enough.
Say goodbye Rico.

Oddly enough his blocking improved in two seasons to the point where he became a reliable blocker. That alone kept him on the roster last season. Expect him to again attend camp.

One thing that I notice is that the posters here hates the guy. Why? He did not ask for all of the hype. Last season, the coaches said that his blocking needed to improve before he got playing time. From everything that I have read about him, he busted his but and improved his blocking. This season the coaches put him on the field for a lot of running plays. Posters here are shocked that he didn’t produce more, but he would have to take the ball from Zeke for him to have much production. I noticed that the opposing defenses were concerned about him when he came into games, but the coaching staff did nothing to take advantage of his size or pass catching ability. The question remains ,why hate on the guy?

Rico is bum. I'm done with him. He had his two years of fame. Drop a easy catch in the playoffs.
