Am I the only Fan who thought this game would be a cakewalk?

Nothing surprises me in playoff or regular season games. I was ready to be blown out down 14-0 but thought would still wi.

Well why didn't they do that last week against a hobbled Aaron Rodgers?
Different team, different matchups, different game plan, different way the game progressed.

You can't tell much about a team by looking at one individual game. I mean, the Ravens beat the Steelers by 20+ this season and the Steelers beat the Ravens by 20+. The Lions had a tremendous defense all season long. One poor performance doesn't mean that they suddenly don't have one anymore.

On the slow track of Lambeau they mounted zero pass rush on a hobbled Rodgers -- Rodgers was sacked 0 times and the Packers ran for 152 yards.

Lions are built to play on turf -- which is why they excelled today vs Dallas.

Will be interesting to see if the Cowboys DL can mount a pass rush on Rodgers.

An 11 win team in the playoffs? Of course not. Arizona, with their 3rd string QB, was the exception, not the rule.

because Aaron rodgers and his receivers are about as lethal as it gets?

because Aaron rodgers commands respect?

because as good as romo is...he's not quite as good as rodgers?

could you imagine how many rings we could have if rodgers was slinging the rock?

romo was a big part in why we almost lost today.

i could go on.

Here is my $0.02 on it: Romo was actually better than Rodgers this season when you look at their entire body of work. That's why I would vote for Romo for MVP.

Having said that, when Rodgers is on his absolute A game, he is the most unstoppable QB I've ever seen play.

Let's hope Rodgers isn't on his absolute A game. He hasn't been recently @ Lambeau in the playoffs.

I thought it would be a very difficult game to win.

that's your opinion..

and i respect it.

i'm just enjoying a beautiful hard fought win by my team.

romo needs to get rid of tunnel vision ...scan the field and throw the damn ball away and live to fight for the next play.

I was not nervous at all about today. However, I did not feel good about his match up. It bothered me all week. I felt more confident playing GB and SEA than I did Detroit. Just couldn't put my finger on why. All week I have felt that if we could get by Detroit we'd be good after that. I've also had this weird feeling that Carolina was going to beat AZ and then beat Seattle. I cannot explain it, just a feeling. Told I guy at work he said I was crazy but understood "the feeling you can't explain" thing. If that happens and we win in GB that's a home championship game for us. Hope my weird feelings are correct.

I didn't.

Lots of top quality players on the Lions.

There's a reason why DeAndre Levy was covering Dez Bryant on the 3rd and 10 play. He's probably the best cover linebacker in the game and he had Dez, but couldn't tackle him. Really a great player.

Suh is very good and Fairley was playing. I also really like Jason Jones and Ansah. Then you have Bell (a solid power running back), Megatron and Tate. Enough really good players to beat you.

I think Romo was letting the pressure of his lack of playoff wins get to him and the Lions were really flying around on defense. I don't think the humidity helped matters. But, we stuck to it and Romo started to come around nicely (the first TD throw to Williams was a thing of beauty).

After the Commanders game, I've been waiting for another team to play us like that. But no one has, until today. Luckily, Romo didn't get hurt and was able to will the team to victory.

I mean based on the month of December and how out offense was looking on the road and home combined with the Lions lack of pass rush I assumed we would win by 14 or more. Never did I expect us to fall below 14-0 and trail 20-7 and just glad we was able to come back and get the win.

But watching the Lions last week I saw no pash rush or pass defense which is why I felt today would not be a challenge. Just goes to show that once the postseason starts the records for every team is truly 0-0.

BTW: I refuse to get in a conversation with other fans about how the refs were paid off, we won and I will take it. ON TO LAMBEAU AVE

LOL

No way I thought it would be a cakewalk. How could anyone thin that really?

Romo said after the game that the Lions defense was by far the best he's faced all season.

Yup. Knew that before the game.
Saw it during game.

We won't face another defense this tough until Ravens in Super Bowl.

Rodgers passed for 224 yards and 2 TDs last week against the Lions. Romo threw for 293 yards and 2 TDs today.
Well, Rodgers also did that on only 22 passes (Romo threw 31), and ran for a TD as well. And didn't take any sacks.

Best two QBs in the league next week. Can't wait!

Our Offense during the month of December and the Lions defense during the month of December which is why I was thinking blowout
