Am I the only Fan who thought this game would be a cakewalk?

I mean based on the month of December and how out offense was looking on the road and home combined with the Lions lack of pass rush I assumed we would win by 14 or more. Never did I expect us to fall below 14-0 and trail 20-7 and just glad we was able to come back and get the win.

But watching the Lions last week I saw no pash rush or pass defense which is why I felt today would not be a challenge. Just goes to show that once the postseason starts the records for every team is truly 0-0.

BTW: I refuse to get in a conversation with other fans about how the refs were paid off, we won and I will take it. ON TO LAMBEAU AVE

LOL

I didn't. As a matter the Lions I felt presented the worse matchup for us.

what team presents the easiest matchup?

I'm not sure there is an easy matchup, but I was not sure we could stop Tron and Tate, and whether we could run on them which is what has opened up our offense. Seattle and Packers are better than detroit, but packers can't stop us, and Seattle don't score enough. We can beat both teams. If we win in lambeau, I truly believe we are going to the bowl.

Detroit was great against the run, the Packers are not very good against the run which may be a better match up defensively.

Conversely, the Packers can chuck the rock, so hopefully our defense can apply pressure to a hobbled Rogers.

I thought we were clearly the better team, but that doesn't mean a cakewalk necessarily. I thought our defense would give Detroit a chance. Ironically it was the defense that stepped up when we needed them to the most. I thought our O-line would fare better, that maybe it would be a wash in the trenches, but we clearly lost that battle in the first half. If we had scored on the first drive instead of a 3 and out, I don't think the game would've been as close.

I thought it would be a cakewalk. I was thinking we'd win by 3 TDs, but maybe 2 TDs and a FG. I just didn't think they'd score more than 20 or hold us under 40 if we wanted it. Their D was legit, who knew?

This matchup was my worst nightmare...

The fact that we won proved we are a good team... every weakness we have was their strength. Every strength we had was their strength...

This was a HUGE win for us...

because Aaron rodgers and his receivers are about as lethal as it gets?

because Aaron rodgers commands respect?

because as good as romo is...he's not quite as good as rodgers?

could you imagine how many rings we could have if rodgers was slinging the rock?

romo was a big part in why we almost lost today.

i could go on.

Oh c'mon lane... I know you hate Romo, but he was MAULED today and managed to persevere...

Earlier this week I was... but by this weekend I was thinking trap game, largely because I had been thinking about the Packers all week.
