Am I the only Fan who thought this game would be a cakewalk?

I mean based on the month of December and how out offense was looking on the road and home combined with the Lions lack of pass rush I assumed we would win by 14 or more. Never did I expect us to fall below 14-0 and trail 20-7 and just glad we was able to come back and get the win.

But watching the Lions last week I saw no pash rush or pass defense which is why I felt today would not be a challenge. Just goes to show that once the postseason starts the records for every team is truly 0-0.

BTW: I refuse to get in a conversation with other fans about how the refs were paid off, we won and I will take it. ON TO LAMBEAU AVE

I predicted a nail biter (right, Sarge?). A win is a win and this feels every bit as good as a blowout...

My prediction was 27-20 and closer than the predicted score. This is the playoffs and very good defenses usually win. We escaped by luck, talent, and refs bad call. No, I did not think this was going to be easy!

The bad call thing is a non-issue. The refs are not perfect and there were many blown and missed calls yesterday. Our escape, if you want to call it that, was a product of second half adjustments and a ramped up effort by the defense, which played exceptionally well when the game was on the line.

No game should ever be viewed as a "Cakewalk", especially a Playoff game.

That is the truth for sure sir. It was a good game. I would be pissed if I paid good money for a game and the game was so one sided.

I believe the 150 yards rushing the Packers had against Detroit is why many thought the game would end up being a bigger Cowboy win.

Remember all those posts during the week showing all the game images from the Packers - Lions game in executiauing detail basically saying "Wow, look how the Lions DL lined up against the Packers. If the Lions do that against the Cowboys Murray is going to have a field day".

That kind of thinking basically ignores the fact that every NFL game and matchup is different and more importantly, IMHO, it's really hard to look at a game between two bitter division rivals and project the the outcome of that game and the details of that game into a game with a team outside the division.
