Am I the only one not enamored with Dwayne Harris?

Virtually every time Harris got an opportunity the last 2 years he seems to have done something. He made big plays when given the chance.
What wasn't to like.
Also, didn't see drops, wrong routes, or fumbles.
He is physical, fights for ball, and extra yards.
Sounds like a solid #3 receiver to me.

On top of that, we have SO many other holes on the field, than worrying about replacing Austin or improving a 3rd Receiver over Harris, when he truly hasn't been given a full season seems silly.

Then we also had a 4th round pick invested last year, who should compete

Now, I would cheaply grab Laurent Robinson as insurance, IF he can pass a medical with those serious concussion issues. that makes sense too, since he can find end-zone and has good chemistry with Romo.

Worry about WR next year, depending on what Austin, Beasley, Harris, Coale, etc do this year...

Harris is a playmaker and pretty much step up to the plate and delivered whenever his name was called to do so.

The same can't be said about Cole Beasely or Danny Coale injury or not.

People forget that Harris came in as a rookie off of a strike. This delayed his development in year 1. Even then, he far and away led the team in catches and scoring inthe preseason.
But his route running needed some polish (and still does). He also needed a full professional offseason.
He came back both quicker and stronger. And again, led the team in socring and receptions in the preseason. But he didn't get an opportunity until week 10. Don't ask me why.

Like Garrett said late in the season, Harris is rapidly improving every day right before our eyes in both practice and in games.

I think his upside is better than some believe.

That does not mean we should always be looking to improve the roster.
