Am I the only one who can’t stomach another Eagles SB win?

Can't believe that runt Hurts is just waltzing into a Super Bowl.

The Iggles really got lucky and had the Red Sea just part for them this year didn't they? Who knew that the Rams were going to completely fall apart and not only not defend their crown in the Super Bowl again, but not even make the playoffs? Rodger's team not being a playoff team was surprising too. Brady's team limped in, but his had no business even being in the playoffs and it showed. Cardinals and K- Murray fell apart.
Iggles got a first round bye. A 2nd round matchup with the Giants, a team nobody expected to be anywhere near the playoffs this year, and then in the NFC Championship game the Niners on their 3rd string QB who got hurt and couldn't throw the ball. The NFC was wide open this year and not the tough conference to navigate in the playoffs that it usually is.
I can't help but think bout the JAX and GB games that the Cowboys had won but couldn't close the deal in. They win those 2 games, they would have been the 1 seed and would have had that cushy 2nd round Giants matchup and then face probably the Iggles at home in the 3rd round. That would have been very interesting- I liked how they matched up against the Iggles better than with the Niners. I wanted to play them a 3rd time this year. We rolled them once and if not for Rush's 3 picks, actually had a chance to beat them with a backup QB. They are beatable, just had the easiest ride through the NFC I think Ive ever seen a team have. Could have been the Cowboys, oh well.

I guess since I live in Philly it would be hard to deal with the eagles fever but I can see if you are a Dallas fan in Texas it wouldnt be as bad.

I will be rooting for KC

Yup, so, it's the Cowboys own fault that Philly's in the SB. Heck, we could've still done something about it if our OC wasn't clueless about the 49ers literally saying leading up to the game that they knew what we were going to be doing on offense. So, while it sucks that Philly is in the SB, the Cowboys organisation only has itself to blame.

I wouldn’t bet on that. You don’t win 17 games, including the playoffs being a poser. Mahomes has a bad ankle and no one in the NFL can get after the QB like Philly. The last time Mahomes was in a Super Bowl he was dealing with a bad toe and KC got pasted. His ankle won’t be 100% by the Super Bowl. Philly has the most complete team. They’ve blown out both playoff opponents.

Relax they're not beating the Chiefs, they're posers. Cupcake schedule all year long, most impressive win all year regular season and playoffs was Kurt Cousins at home. They just got all the breaks all year regular season and playoffs, no good wins that weren't at home and even at home not that many impressive ones. They haven't faced a team like the Chiefs all year and they'll lose. Book it.

Sure they have the better defense but who you taking Mahomes or Hurts? Come on it's not even close. Eagles will run for some yards but they can't throw. Unlike our QB Mahomes shows up regardless if it's good or bad defenses. Mahomes is 9-3 in the playoffs only losses 2 in the AFC Championship against Brady and Burrow and 1 in the Super Bowl against Brady. He's never lost against a QB as weak as Hurts and won't in two weeks.

We are going to beat the Chiefs for sure. San Frans D is way tougher. I expect us to put up at least 40 points on the Chiefs. Sorry Cowboys fans, you'll have ot stomach another SB win by the Eagles in less than 5 years.

Their first Super Bowl win gutted me for eternity, because it was the ONE thing we had over their scum bag fans....now, I really don't care. I want whatever brings booger the most pain....but sadly, he doesn't care anymore either. So blank him!!!

I lived in the area and did not turn on local channels for a week. Going to work was horrible.

I should note that I particularly don't want Philly winning. Why? Because I have a bet with my godfather that is still active and a bet with my roommates.

With my godfather, the bet is that if Dallas were to have swept Philly, like we did last year, win against Philly in a playoff game, or win the SB, he'd have to wear a Cowboys jersey on the Jersey Shore boardwalk again like last year for one night. If the teams split, then I have to wear an Eagles jersey, and he has to wear a Cowboys jersey on the same night. If the Eagles swept, beat us in a playoff game, or win the SB, then I lose and wear an Eagles jersey for a night.

As for the bet with my roommates, if the Eagles win the SB, I have to wear an Eagles jersey for a separate week. If the Chiefs win, one of my roommates, who's a Browns fan as I live in Cleveland, would have to wear a Steelers jersey for a week. The other roommate, who's a Chiefs fan, is safe as the Bengals would've had to win the SB for him to have to wear a Bengals jersey for a week.

So, unfortunately, I'm kinda screwed on the first bet, but a Chiefs win means that the bet is a split. But...if the Eagles win, then I'm doubly screwed lol.

Do not go hating on the Eagles for being a good organization that puts a better football team on the field. Put the big boy pants on and go out and out work them and beat them at the game. The Eagles have raised the bar recently in the NFC East. Our Cowboys have to take the challenge and rise to that level and beyond.

Living in Giants territory I get how you feel. But there is nothing we can do about it. The Eagles are healthy going against a depleted Chiefs team. Mahomes on 1 leg is still good but not good enough. Look at the bright side. The Eagles will have a target on their backs next year, and maybe they get complacent.

Also, keep an eye on Hurts. Since he came back from his injury, he looks very ordinary.

You have to deal with it anyway. The most hype is the week leading up to the Super Bowl. I live in South Jersey also, but I don't pay much attention to the local news anymore, or sports, and I haven't heard anything. Heck I don't even watch TV anymore just stream old shows. Plenty you can do to mute the Super Bowl hype from eagles.
