Amari Cooper 28 yrs old 20 million

vs

Gallup with a bum knee 11 million, shrimp jag overrated Cooks 20 million 30 yrs old and an extra draft pick lost for a 1yr rental.

Great job front office, great job and you still don't even have half of what Cooper bought to the table.
Lamb replaced Cooper, we haven't found a #2 to replace Lamb

hopefully Cooks isn't AWOL like Cooper down the stretch and when most needed
Who scored against the rams in the playoffs? Who scored against the niners in the playoffs? Who did this with trash at QB? Who put up better numbers with Jacoby 3rd string Brissett than the amazing DC starter?

Cooks being a small target for Prescott's inaccuracy is concerning.

Guys like Beasley and Cobb were short to intermediate receivers. Cooks is down the field.
People don't understand this. This is a glorified Tavon Austin. He will be next to useless with this QB

And that's the rally cry for Jerry's whipped fans.

Our players are cheaper!
It wasn't a rallying cry at all. Just pointing out the original post had his facts wrong. Plus the whole point of the original post seems to imply Cooks was brought in to replace Cooper. That isn't the case. That role was turned over to Lamb last season and will be so again this year.

Shrimp JAG? What do you have against this guy? He is a nice complimentary piece to help open things up for the rest of the offense. He won’t put up WR1 numbers but he’s not our WR1 and didn’t cost us WR1 compensation.

Home run trade for Dallas and people who disagree either don’t understand how a football team is constructed or had somewhat unrealistic ideas about landing Hopkins.

No one has to like the trade, but why make up stuff that is easily verifiable?

Cooper's cap hit this season is $23.776 million
Cook's cap hit this season for Dallas is $12.353 million
You never mentioned Gallups cap hit and the fact that Cooks/Gallup wont fill Coopers numbers/value to the offense.

Repeating lies about Cooper is rather tedious.
he contributed in his Cowboys playoff appearances, but never made #1, elite WR production. And his 2021 stats, overall and when it counted, were very underwhelming. satisfaction of what you get vs what you expect is perception, but IMO not repeating a lie

Cooper was replaced last year with ceedee….we just didn’t give lamb his own number 2 like he was for cooper the year previously.

Never made elite production? He instantly turned this team around and put Dak on track after the trade. His 2nd season, first full with us was one of the best WR Cowboys seasons ever.

Just when you think the whine brigade is ready for a well needed nap...they strike with deadly force, LOL.

Gallup's knee is forever ruined...the whine brigade keeps repeating it. Must be true.

Not sure what you're most upset about here- losing a 5th round pick, not having Amari Cooper around anymore, or having Dak at quarterback?

None of the above is going to change so I guess you're just going to be unhappy for at least another year.

I'm sorry. I didn't correct you on Gallup's cap hit being $6.774 million, which is lower than the $11 million you stated it to be. That is a fact. Cooks and Gallup filling Cooper's numbers is yet to be determined, so that is not a fact.
