Amari Expendable

Wow, so the whole reason we lost yesterday is because Coop was out! And here I thought it was because the OL couldn't block anyone, Dak was overthrowing and underthrowing, wr were dropping the few that reached them, and the play calling sucked. I feel better now, knowing everything will be okay once Amari comes back. Thank you all.

Yeah, lets assume Gallup should be in ALL PRO form a couple games after an injury and missing snaps.
Amari being out doesn't help of course.
Plus the qb didn’t have his best day. Let’s see what they can do this week. I believe both will be better

So? Pass it to Wilson, our Tight Ends or even Zeke then. None of them could do anything.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not on the "Lamb is our #1 receiver" train. Just sayin that yesterday Coop couldn't have saved the day.

But coulda woulda... no one can prove his stance anyway, so let's leave it at "He's f'*%&§g necessary" because that I can sign.
Wilson...multiple drops on passes that could have been thrown better. The point is, others did not step up yesterday including Wilson. Our TE played well.

The football genius around here that are quick to tell everyone "they don't know football" if you say Cooper is the reason the other receivers looks so good are looking very foolish today.

That guy is dumb as a rock, a big bully with half a brain.

Amari is the one that makes everything else work. Everyone respects his route running and that opens everything up for Lamb and company. It was awful to see both he and Lamb out yesterday.

How is the Amari being expendable, because Gallup is legit argument working out now?
Said this before Cooper is the mvp on the O, yet the pitch forks and torches want him gone. Cooper makes the rest of the O better imho.

I can't help but think that if Dak hits a wide open Gallup on that first play the entire game would have been different.

What is more important is having a sieve for an OL in pass protection.

Amari Cooper and Tyron Smith are the MVPs on this team it looks like.

Dak is looking like classic Dak and not 2021 Dak lately.

I think it was just good timing for Amari. It creates the illusion that he's the straw that stirs the drink.

As if we haven't seen him disappear in times of adversity on the road before.

The answer is that Gallup was never going to be a viable replacement for Cooper. I like Gallup. But the reality is this talk of signing him this offseason and tossing Cooper out was pretty silly.

I'll just say that I've never gotten the negativity or dislike that some Cowboys fans seemed to have for Cooper. They pushed for Jerry to trade him away to another team, but I always thought that Cooper was a valuable part of this offense. And wanted the Cowboys to keep him if they could keep him.

Maybe yesterday's game will get more Cowboys fans to appreciate Cooper more.

This take is so silly to me....as if Amari hasn't been apart of bad losses....where the hell was Amari Cooper against Denver when we got our *** whooped? This isn't the time to pound your chest and say "I Told you so....". Not the game for it.

I think people appreciate him it was the whole fans trying to be GM.....they want to create cap space. So in their mind they get rid of Cooper and they can re-sign Gallup and Wilson.
