Further proof #1 wr's do not correlate with winning championships. None of the #1's in the last 15 years or so have a super bowl ring.

This team should be built around running the ball and physicality. This whole offseason after the new staff is put in place should be about building the best defense possible. That is where the money should go.

Why is this always the narrative when we go a certain way with the running game or passing game?

*Passing attack is great*
Cowboys Zone: Zeke sucks, Pollard is overrated. We are a pass first team.

*Running attack is great*
Cowboys Zone: Cut Dak, Cut Cobb, Cut Gallup, and Cut Amari.

He’s not “fading”. The passing game yesterday didn’t need to be utilized. If you use the past games (that were losses) as an excuse, the whole team needed to be held accountable in those losses. Not just Amari.

Team scored 44 points.

I don't think the OP gets it. Coop didn't forget how to play football. Julio Jones caught his first TD's since week 3. It happens. You take something away, you make them pay with another weapon. Gallup/Cobb also didn't suddenly forget how to play football. Matchup's game flow, taking what's there, etc. Dak completed 15/23 for over 200 but 2 2td's and no turnovers. Very efficient game. Not many yards to be had in the air. Big day on the ground. Pick your poison and winning in multiple ways is what you want. Not a morning for sour grapes about any phase today. Except it's CZ.. so ...

Sometimes forget the value of game script. We attacked the rams with our tight ends and the running game

does it matter?

Hasn't been the same since he got "injured" 5-6 weeks ago.

Yesterday was not a good example though. Dak's hand was an issue passing. They stuck heavily to the ground game throughout.
Hell their top 3 receivers had sub 50 yards receiving combined..

"Injured?"

Why the question marks? Are you on the Cowboys staff?

Cooper to me clearly doesn't have the same speed and moves he had a few weeks ago, it's entirely possible he has a lingering injury. Not all injuries keep a player out of games, some just limit their performance.

We have no way of knowing for sure...

I don't think he is healthy.

He has some leg and foot injuries that are probably lingering.

Yes after the Bears game, when he got a hard hit on his leg, all the team said was he didn't have "structural" damage, a severe contusion is debilitating but isn't "structural"...

Thi
He had one catch yesterday. Dropped another one. He only has 1 td in the last 5 games.

Road games and top corners seem to be this guys kryptonite.

Yes, I know he saw some bracket coverage vs the Rams, but that is not something unique to him. Deandre Hopkins gets it too but he has a minimum 5 catches in 17 straight games (NFL record).

If we're going to beat Philly, he's going to need to wake up from this slump. I don't want to be sitting here a week from now trying to figure out Greg Ward Jr. outplayed him.
This team plays best when it takes what the D gives them.

Meh he will be fine..when the targets are limited like NE only 2 others where he was hurt and on snap count weather etc and then games like yesterday where we decided to run run and more run.. he will be fresher and ready to go.. Phillys DBs are the weak point of the d and we will find more pass plays in this game.. they dont have db that can plan man up on him..they have to now see Zeke/Pollard as big threats and will crowd the box play man and the WRs will eat in philly//
