I liked those short clips of him making great juke moves. It got you into the action and then about 1:80 and up You got the entire package of the long runs and then his blocking. it had it all, even if it doesnt have the record breaker.

I liked it more then any I've seen.
Understand, I'm not critizing you for posting it because I think anything Cowboys related that is new or at least not been posted in a while is a benefit to Cowboys fans.

In every single highlight video I have seen, plays are cut short and some random song of the moment is played over it.

What makes them even worse is that most of the plays were ripped from other videos made by other fans which is why they ALWAYS have music playing and also why 80-90% of the runs have been used over in over in every other video.

Just once, I would love to see a highlight video that shows a large number of great plays, the full plays, with the in-game announcers talking in the background, the crowd going wild, etc.

Now, when I see any video that has random music playing I automatically know that I've most likely seen all of the plays in other videos so there is no need to waste time watching it.

It's quite possible that someone is jealous of you or does not like you and is reporting your videos. Who knows, it could very well be the person who created the video above.

Then again, I've seen multiple copies of the video above with different songs and this person could have just ripped it and pasted yet-another-random-song to it.

Yeah, you see a lot of that gamesmanship on Ebay (sellers ratting each other out). As for Youtube, the way they go about their business seems very arbitrary. For instance, as of this moment, there's a Cowboys-Giants game from 1987 posted on YT in 16 parts. How that can slip through while Theebs' vids get pulled is puzzling.

What I especially like about that video is how it totally debunks the idea that he was great because of his O-line. It shows he was great because he ran with heart. In many of the clips you don't even see his Linemen yet he is breaking tackles in numerous ways. His O-line was great because of him, not the other way around.

ON point post here. I need to save this because this is all the non fans respomse to the GOAT!!!

I would love to see a well-crafted Aikman highlight video. He flat out could put the football anywhere he wanted to, and he had one of the prettiest deep balls I've ever seen.

The season opening OT game in Washington, I think we went playaction first play in overtime and Troy hit Rocket for the 41-35 win. That play inspired me to play QB, not very well - but at least I was inspired.

I actually didnt even think that people could be reporting my vids and getting them removed. Judging from the way alot of people on here respond to me, that makes perfect sense that there could be people just flagging my stuff immediately.

I put my top 10 texas stadium plays video up on my youtube account in december, it lasted a week. THen I made a new account, put them up again with names in the title and in the tag line having nothing to do with football or the cowboys and within hours the account was banned. So maybe it is someone that just wants to give me grief, It actually probably is.

so to whoever it is thanks!!!

oh and about the highlight videos. I cant speak for everyone, but for me personally when making a highlight video I choose to use quick cuts and keep them uptempo. There really is no way to make a highlight video that shows plays in their entirety with the tv or radio broadcast.

Now If I were to make a recap video, or just put some plays together as a group I would use the full plays and then the radio broadcast.

I am working on a Defensive highlight video right now and in the last two seasons bradie james has really layed some tremendous shots, The way I have begun to edit them is quick and to the point. It just doesnt work if I show the ball being thrown to the back and then bradie hitting him and getting up and celebrating. It breaks rhythm, takes too long and makes the file sizes too large in the end!

I did a full season recap last year with whole plays and the radio broadcast. Of course it was taken off youtube in a matter of days!

There are times when music really helps to improve flow or really draw the viewer in. Not every sports video with music is bad :)

The real problem is not the original video creators who cut/splice plays from their own game archives, but the fact that once those videos are posted, every average-guy-with-cheap-video-editing-software will come along, steal it and paste over it with yet another random song of the moment and post it to YouTube.

YT has employed "music recognition software" to detect copywritten material. As a result, the audio on several of my vids has been disabled.

You know, that's another great point. It very well may be the music you are using that is causing your videos to get pulled.

Another reason could be that you are on their "watch more closely" list if you keep uploading them using the same account each time.

Yeah I hear ya there. The 2007 first offensive highlight I made for the first half of the season I see used all over.

It really is funny. There is a guy who did exactly what your saying and just copied my vid and changed the music, even though I cut the vid to the music I used!, but mine got taken down instanly, his is still up. Also my terry glenn vid I did awhile ago was taken down and someone else put it up and it has like 4000 views!!

Pretty funny. There must be some people that really hate me!!

Here is the glenn.

and here is the guy who basically destroyed my 07 offensive video!
over 20,000 views. Mine the actual video was pulled at like 200 views!!!

I cut that vid to the music, what this guy did is basically ridiculous.

That is interesting, I didnt know that. I dont generally use regular music, but maybe the nfl films music came up in my top 10 texas stadium plays video.

oh and sorry for hijacking the thread, I didnt mean to.

Funny you should mention that. I tried to upload a DeMarcus Ware slideshow last week, but I kept getting rejected due to the copywritten music issues. What did it finally accept? NFL Films music. Go figure.

Amazing.

Am I the only one who can't see it?

I couldn't see it either, I had to paste the full youtube link into a seperate browser window and view it at Youtube itself.

I've said it before, but what made it Emmitt great is that he wasted no movement. You see lots of guys with arms and legs all over the place, but he was very compact and only moved as much as he needed to.

He also had vision the likes of which you basically never see.
