On the flip side, it could also benefit Dallas if Philly has to wait 3 full weeks to play a meaningful game with us waiting for them. That is too much down time.

The best thing that could happen this week is Colts and Saints win. Giants will play Eagles next week with playoffs on the line. I’ll take a Panthers win over Tampa Bay just for giggles as well.

problem is we never do well coming off extended rest. I would have the team prepare as normal, but perhaps have them play a series or two and then pull them.

I would rest Micah. he will be fine and actually better off with the rest.

I’ll let the day play out and see how that affects Dallas and what is best for them then but I’m cheering for a Philly win when it’s still mathematically possible to get the #1 seed. If a couple of games go a certain way, next week becomes immensely more intriguing. That’s what fans should be living for!
