So the answer to the juckie's question is - no...I would not be happy.

I would like to see us beat the Colts with Manning as the QB. No excuses for the media to say why we won.

Okay, so Ware should just let up IF and when he has a chance to lay the wood on Manning...to keep him in the game so we would have no excuses.

Please. If he gets knocked out, I would shed no tears. In fact, I would open up the Courvoisier and share it with all my buddies.

Again, no one puts an asterisk down when they beat us if we have injured players.

Spearing by using the crown of your helmet to inflict a hit - is considered a cheap shot. There's a difference between spearing someone and tackling and making contact with the helmet.

Would I shed a tear if he was taken out? Of course not. But taking a cheap shot to take out a player isn't part of the game.

And you're right - a win is a win with no asterisks next to the "W", obviously. And one more thing - I would take a glass of that Courvoisier with a slight grin. :D

I'm not happy Manning gets hurt, especially a head injury...winning isn't that important to me to actually be happy about a guy getting seriously hurt...however, if the Colts only have 10 points in the 2nd quarter, I'm freakin' thrilled....

If memory serves me correct, Aikman went down against Indy by virtue of spearing back in 1999. We lost that game, but it was competitive until he was knocked out with a concussion. The Colts were happy to take the win.

There was no flag on that play, and no fine from the NFL. The ruling was that Aikman was in the act of shielding himself from the hit, and his head got in the way of the hit. Total BS if you ask me. Today's NFL would never let that hit get away without a fine.

I'll have the Courvoisier with a slight grin ready for you on Sunday my friend.

Hell yes!

:laugh1:

I'm unhappy if Ware takes a cheapshot. Otherwise, it's all part of the game. Manning getting knocked out would certainly have to help the Cowboys.

Porter has disappearewd this year.

I like the respect that comes with beating a team on even ground. An injury to Peyton Manning is not good for the Cowboys it sucks for the NFL in general. Peyton is a phenomenon, he seems to be an all around great guy, and a absolute joy to watch. There is no way I would ever wish harm to him. If he beats the Cowboys Sunday then KILL HIM!!!! :chainsaw: :chop:

I don't think Ware is that type of player.

~sigh... Ware aint that type :(

Look at it from this point of view.

3rd Quarter, Colts up 10-3 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd. Defense is playing very well and Ware is having a career kind of game. We have the Colts backed up, 3rd and 15 on there own 5. Rush is coming, Indy Chop Blocks Ware and puts him out of the game, knee injury. Once he's out, complection of the game completely changes and the Colts go on to win 24-13. How serious the injury to Ware is unkown.

What would you think then?

Short of a cheap shot, if he has to leave the game thats fine with me.

I'm not into wanting to "beat them at their best" just cause of the principle of it as of now. If I'm to worry about that type deal at all, maybe it would be in the SB.

For now we just need W's and most anything that helps the cause is welcomed.

I just want to win, no one will care later on in life how it happened.

People should be more worried about Romo. The Colts D is known for intentionally going low on QBs. If one of our players did the same to Manning, I would not feel bad considering that the Colts employ this philosophy.

Jason Garrett only attempted one pass in that game, so I am not sure Aikman's concussion really affected the outcome.

I would hate to see any Cowboy player spearing an opponent. Spearing puts the guy doing the spearing in more danger than the guy being speared. It isnot the way to tackle and can be dangerous.

I would not cheer if Manning got hurt. I would like the chances of winning the game if he was hurt, but it is not worth cheering or hoping for. I think a way to beat Manning is to hit him and rattle him. I don't think Dallas can do that, but can still do enough on defense to wins this game against a healthy Manning.

If Ware did it no way, thats not kewl..........

Now if Carpenter came into the game and knocked that annoying Rodd Flanders out of the game by turning his brain into a chunky soup, well then, that uh, I would, well I wouldn't be unhappy.

From the broadcast booth surveying the pulse of the nation:

Honestly, yes.
I'd be happy. (I HATE MYSELF, I HATE MYSELF!!!!)

Thanks a lot, buddy! Now I have to go to confession. grrrrrrrrrrrr!
