Look at it from this point of view.

3rd Quarter, Colts up 10-3 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd. Defense is playing very well and Ware is having a career kind of game. We have the Colts backed up, 3rd and 15 on there own 5. Rush is coming, Indy Chop Blocks Ware and puts him out of the game, knee injury. Once he's out, complection of the game completely changes and the Colts go on to win 24-13. How serious the injury to Ware is unkown.

What would you think then?

Well i could hardly compare ware to manning obviously.Without manning they will DEFINITELY lose.He is the team.

I see. So you think we would have a chance if we lost Ware then?

Perhaps you can substitute Manning for Romo on your original post and Ware for Freeney and that would do. Would you like the idea of having to play Bledsoe in that situation?

Be sorry if you wish but the fact is, we are probably not a .500 team if Romo is not playing for us or if Ware is not playing for us. The point is that both Romo and Ware are two of the most valuable players we have. If your willing to lose either of those guys in the way you discribe Mannings lose, then that's on you. I would not like to see either of those guys out in whatever fashion it might occur.

I'm not your pal. You see things one way, I see them another. Don't confuse the issue.

Perhaps now would be a good time for somebody to start a I hate Manning thread.

Opps...........

What? You cannot knock out Peyton! Nobody can!

He is to brilliant and smart to let anyone do that...he's the best QB in the NFL and if you try to take him out...forget it!

Sad to say, but, there will never be another QB like him...

I would be doing a Conga line around my house. I agree with the other poster. Any means necessary

I would have a block party at my house for the rest of the game. I can't shed a tear for Manning, cheap shot or not.

So, the Michael Irvin incident in Philly was just the Eagles trying to get a W? Right?

ANY MEANS POSSIBLE! I remember Andy Reid bragging after that game, saying that he was going to go eat a big cheeseburger. Do you think he went to the local Philly hospital to check on Irvin?

I shed no friggin tears for an opposing player that gets injured. I am a Cowboys fan, not a Colts fan!

Thankfully, you don't speak for the majority of Cowboys fans; most of whom exhibit characteristics like integrity, pride, and yes, sportsmanship. We love the game and we appreciate those players who take the game to another level. We don't cheapen the sport by acting in an immature manner, wishing injury on another team's star player.

I'd be happy with the win....Assuming we get it.....Remember,we lost to Brunell.

But I wouldn't be ecstatic about it. I would still have questions about our team's ability to beat top teams.

A win vs the Colts WITH Manning would be a heckuva lot more satisfying. Could you imagine the psychological effect it would have on our team?
