My plan B would be the next LT..Ray Rice. If we need an RB we have options...

From the Garden State... ??!!

If you go Rice I would think that would be done in later part of the 1st rd maybe the 2nd depending on the season he puts up this year.

How tall do you think Emmitt really was or Barry Sanders? It's all about talent, determination and football smarts!

No way he lasts until round 2. He will battle McFadden for the Heisman all season, IMO. Along with others.

I think by the end of the year hes a high 1st round pick. Its likely Cleveland will be bad and we will have some flexibility but we may have no shot at Mcfadden.

Ray is everything JuJo looked to be in year one. He has some power too. I really liken him to LT.

Short running backs have a big advantage.Maurice jones drew is going to have another stellar year, they are low, hard to see and hard to tackle and not as prone to leg injuries.

I would hate to see what some of these folks thought about Emmitt Smith when Dallas drafted him...

184 Yards rushing and 3 TDs last night. Pretty good numbers for Rice, albeit against against the not so mighty Buffalo Bulls.

You guys are right ..... I was confused

I thought you were saying he was gonna be as great at his position as the Real LT ..... not the little LT

But his size does worry me ..... he is not built like a bulldog like Emmitt

Hopefully he will totally prove my fears unfounded ..... if we draft him that is.

They did think lowly of Emmitt! Emmitt dropped in his draft. He and LT will go down as probably the best 2 RBs ever, statistically. Both from a similar mold, not unike Ray too.

Winning the heisman (or being a finalist) does not mean he'll be a first rounder.

This is just a silly statement for a running back.

Do you realize how many stud runners have been right around this height?

that will not hurt him in the NFL at all, none.

So because we take a RB in round one we cannot also take a CB in round one next year either?

Odd.

Coulda swore we had 2 1st rounders next year.
