Who was considered no more than an average to above average HC. Which is about what he is now.
I put .500, but he was much closer to .600 at .583 and Jimmy only had a .556 winning percentage, and Jimmy was definitely well above average.

i am gauranteeing we aint pretenders
we talking the NFL in its entirety ie lie the beagles 5-0 isn't holding that much validity, who carries this momentum into the final month will be contenders. we need DAK back, regardless sof the ZONE backlash from the haters who feel differently, to be true contenders

Our TEAM must continue play the same,
the coaches coaching the same and ADD dak, thats a SB team.. add dak and the coaches and team start not showing up, well the blame will be on Dak but most sports enthusiasts SEE right through that.

No, Buffalo is overrated and their QB is vastly overrated and will crumple like a lawn chair in the playoffs as per par. It will be Mahomes and the Chiefs.

The fact you are dismissing Josh Allen, who has continued to improve and elevate his team while getting to the AFC Championship game in hos 3rd year, makes anything you say inconsequential.

Before Mahomes, Reid was known for bad clock mgmt and late game blunders.

Winning percentage is skewed, as Jimmy was only coach for a short time, and 2-3 years of that was with horrid teams. I'd do a little more research and thinking if I were you.

mr blue---- it is so true....and i am in agreement...its not who starts 5-0....its who is hot final month of season and carries it into playoffs....often the fast starts are not the "hot ends"....seen it so many times..

i even remember 1998 15-1 Falcons faultering so embarassingly in playoffs....the dirty birds....had wrong kind of dirt on them in the end

That was the 15-1 Vikings who lost the NFC Championship to the Falcons - who were 14-2...but Minnesota was heavily favored. Vikings placekicker did not miss a FG all season, but missed late in the 4th qtr, then Atlanta tied the game with a TD. Falcons kicked a FG in OT to win the game.

You are nuts. Allen is a special player.

i do remember that FG was not total "gimmie" but neither was it difficult....and kicker totally choked....those are the ones you dont forget about for years.....i kinda feel bad for those individuals.....like the TE for Dallas

in Superbowl 13 against Steelers....dropped super easy pass that hit him in bread-basket......or the FG kicker for Bills against the Giants....veered right and he had made those all year?....sorry gents but it is called...."you have arrived in Choke city"...and real unfortunately the fans are so hurt by the choke we breathe fire and hate

After merely 5 weeks of play, there are only 6 teams remaining in the NFL with 1 or fewer losses:

5-0 Philadelphia Eagles
4-1 Buffalo Bills
4-1 Minnesota Vikings
3-1 Kansas City Chiefs
4-1 Dallas Cowboys
4-1 New York Giants

Of these 6 teams, only 2 of them were expected to be this good, this early in the season - Buffalo and Kansas City. The other 4 are all NFC teams that are playing better than expected. Even Philadelphia, who many expected to rise to the top of the NFC East this season, wasn’t expected to be undefeated 5 games into the season. The catch for the Eagles is that they still haven’t played either of the two teams nipping at their heels in the NFC east.

Next Sunday night will be a good test for both the Eagles and Cowboys. But neither can write off the Giants, who finally have a coach who knows how to put his players in situations where they can win.

The good news for the Cowboys is even if they lose Sunday, their offense is slated to get even better when 4 injured Cowboys offensive players return from injury - QB Dak Prescott, HOF LT Tyron Smith, HOF Olineman Jason Peters, and WR James Washington. If the Cowboys can return to their league leading offensive production from just a season ago, this team might become just as frightening in the NFC and the Bills team is in the AFC. Could a 3rd Super Bowl between the Cowboys and Bills be in the offing?

P.S. And even the Cowboys Defense, as good as it already is, could become even faster with the addition of speedy and talented rookie LB Damone Clark.

3 of the 6 NFC East
