Tippett was a truly dominant player in his day -- he was like a mini-LT. I wasn't that old when he was playing, so I'm sure some people just didn't see him. But he was a great linebacker.



Chris Carter definately is a Hall of Famer, but if Irvin didn't get in first ballot then he shouldn't either. Sucks how the politics of the HOF goes but that's how it is. They both should have been in on their respective first Ballots.

Yeah, Carter is a HOFer for sure....... I'm surprised Art Monk made it to me he wasn't a truely great player. I guess you could say that their are lesser guys in but IMO Monk is not a HOFer.
