If Dak holds out I’ll bring in Cam for a physical. If healthy sign him. Then it’ll be a competition.

The concept of MM needs to win a superbowl immediately is ridiculous. JG didn’t get fired because of last year. It was after a decade of mediocrity. My hope and expectation is to see a team that shows up every week. Has a 500 or better record vs winning teams. I will be judging MM on his 5 years. Get them to 2-3 championship games and win a superbowl and it was a great move. More than that is gravy.

"IF"?! The way France has been playing hardball, there's absolutely no doubt Prescott will hold out.

Dak's not going to hold out.
I believe in essence he is holding out.

He I believe is not attending the online work.

What's that.?

I do not see him with a note from his mommy saying he is too sick to play.

And yes, I know she has passed away.

Dak Prescott has zero reason to hold out past July 15th.

He isn’t turning down 30 million dollars and ruining his chances on a long term deal.

This is what pisses me off! He should be competing for the starting job regardless of if Dak is signed of not. I hate the idea of players not having to compete for their job year in and year out.

I agree. Money be dammed. This fuels the fires and gives whatever starter some pride.

That's not realistic. The Cowboys can't pay Dak $30-35 million a year just to compete for the job. And that's not just a Dallas thing. It's not common for starting QBs in the NFL to be subject to an open competition for the job every year unless the team has little or no confidence in that QB. Realistically, teams cannot pay the kind of money QBs get paid these days just for that QB to compete for the job. To much money and salary cap space is used up on starting QBs for that.
