But therein lies the dilemma. Orton probably would have been better in that one game, but the Bengals would have been 6-10 with Orton as their starting QB. Dalton had 33 TD... it would have taken Orton two seasons to throw that many, and the Bengals aren't really good enough to win any other way.

He and Romo are both average QB's. Neither will accomplish much in the playoffs or ever go to a super bowl. Who cares about stats.. they both are losers.

Dalton is just a good QB and if you could upgrade from him you do it. If you can't then you're fine as well.

They should've done everything possible to keep Carson Palmer up there but instead they were so inept that now is the time that it's probably costing them a chance to win a Title.

Carson Palmer is pretty good and he's a statue QB that gets no protection but still can light it up.

Yep...all it takes is for lady luck to smile down one season and everything to fall into place and suddenly he isn't a loser...he's a winner. He isn't a choker...he's clutch. I'll wait until both of their careers are over before I label either one of them.
