Anonymous Agent - Cowboys one of worst coached teams

I wish I could remember his name. We picked him up as a FA but released him that season and this was several years back. When he got to his next team, he spoke about how weird it was to hold up the meetings but he wasn't selling sour grapes, just commenting on how strange that was based on his experience with other teams. The real message was how involved the owner and son were in the actual running of the team.

I've never known but just assumed by his actions that Booger was far more involved, especially after promoting Garrett, than I even suspected and All or Nothing did little to dispel that.
I know Nolan Carroll was not impressed with how things worked in Dallas.

Calvin Watkins said that a agent said that a player said that a player said that a player said that a player said that a player said that a player that a player said that a player said that a player said that a player said that Garrett sucks?

Some of our former coaches are having success elsewhere. Hate these anonymous reports. I view them as mostly false with a sliver of truth.

Probably because these coaches are part of a better staff and working for potentially better head coachesd in their new positions.

It's hilarious that people see quotes like this and immediately discount them as being untrue despite the fact that the ACTUAL RESULTS ON THE FIELD would seem to indicate that might be true.

Goes both ways, I thought Nolan Carroll was a bum.

Guy made a living for being a bum in the NFL from day 1.
Never saw anything special from him in Miami, and made Dezs life easy when he played with Philly.
Only value he had was his "size" and he was fast. Perfect Madden corner.

I was not impress with how Nolan Carroll worked either.

Another gem of a signing by Stephen with help from Rod.

But it's not only coaching.. it's just not a well run football team.

You are literally looking at a franchise that has dysfunction/incompetence/mediocrity at every key level of leadership on the team - the owner, the GM, the coach and the QB.

- You have an owner that runs the team like his own personal fantasy football team
- You have a GM who has zero accountability or pressure to win because he's the owner. He also has no clear vision to build a team, their "plan" can change monthly based on their own whims.
- You have a head coach that screams mediocrity and the results on the field back it up. But he's largely been protected because he is viewed as family by the owner/GM.

Aikman is dead on when he essentially says the whole thing has to be blown up.
