Anonymous Dallas assistant coach says our WRs don’t win

I thought I read somewhere that the receivers have one of the lower drop rates in the league.

Can't win when the pass isn't accurate.

They also can't catch when it hits them either. The Tavon drop in the EZ or sideline, or Gallup's miss up the sideline or drop in Sea. leading to an INT, or Zeke missing a shallow cross through both hands in Sea aren't officially considered drops. There have been too many catchable balls, not caught, balls that other WRs make every Sunday in the NFL. Dak hasn't always thrown great balls, but they better sure come up with them when it's there.

No Dez needed to go. He is still at home for a reason. Only 2 to 3 teams had interest.

1) People advocating for Mike White and Rush are dumb.

2) Why would people on this board dissect all the bad throws from other QBs? Especially better QBs? I mean why would we spend the time dissecting all the throws Drew Brees makes, including the ones he misses? I mean it seems pretty obvious that while the best QBs in the league make bad throws, they likely make way less bad throws than mediocre and bad QBs, right?

After the Saints/Browns game there were a couple articles on Saints sites bashing his accuracy that game. He completed 80% of his passes that day, he did miss a couple easy ones very badly though. It just what fans do, they're just as harsh and sometimes more so than they are with other teams. I'm not saying Dak is close to Brees, but fans can have unrealistic expectations regardless of how good or bad a player is.

Jerry fosters this culture though. It can never be the fault of him, the coaches, or the qb, so it must be the wrs' fault.

It's pretty much true. What did they expect? We picked separation guys, not guys to win on contact. And I'm fine with that.

If you want them to win, you gotta keep them moving, and keep the separation. You have to be hitting them as they come out of their breaks. And you have to throw them decent balls.

Second, he probably did hear this but it may actually get him in trouble for talking out of school, they give them some latitude but he will get the clamps put on if the rest of the media quotes this to Jerrah and Garrett!

Yeah,I don’t know why they are being lambasted each week,when everyone knew they were just a hodgepodge of guys by committee. How about Dallas define the roles and take what each guy does best? They talked about it with Eatman on Cowboys Break. I think that’s exactly what they should do. Am I disappointed in Gallup? Yeah,he needs to do a lot more than what he has. But the FO are the ones who decided to go without playmakers. These guys didn’t sign themselves into this offense,or design it either.
