They did it with Tavon Austin as the primary returner and they've done it going back to when Lucky Whitehead was the primary returner.

League wide, there have only been 5 returns for a td, no more than 1 by any individual player. The most total returns by any player is 29, after 13 games, that's only about 2 returns per game. The best average is 16.3, but if you take away his long return of 71 yards, otherwise he's averaging only 12.1.
With the new rules there aren't going to be many returns, fewer long returns, and fewer still return tds.
Beasley's "lack of production" is such a small part of the team's play it's hardly anything that's worth mentioning...
