Another Dak thread. stats

Oh and just for the record.
Just because someone posts some stats that are impressive for a player that does not mean;

They like that player over the team
They would rather have those stats vs team wins
They were fans of the player before he was a Cowboy

People can post about the good and bad about a player and how that can help or hurt the team. IF you only find yourself on one side of the fence where there is no way you can come to admit he has helped this team win and has had good games and or seasons...You are not a realist.
If you find yourself only on one side of the offense where you can not bring yourself to admit he has had bad games or seasons and he has not hurt this team in the win loss area at times. ..you are not a realist.

Most of these members who are diehard anti or pro Dak are not realist. It also does not mean they are not Cowboys fans. It does not mean they like Dak over the team.

That is all just silly talk and usually done by individuals with great and furious anger about anti or pro Dak things are usually the most unrealistic members because they are so set in stone on their stance they have lost all objectivity.

Shott says hello
I do hate those "B Visors" that he and some other coaches wear...but his face is no where near as punchable as Sirianis face IMO. Plus you got add in a factor of at least 10 because Siriani is an Eagle.

I can go with the factor of 10 because she’s an Eagle for sure, but I do think Shots face is up there with punchable faces. I couldn’t stand JG, but his face was never punchable he mostly reminded me of Pennywise the clown.

I gave Garrett the Name of Gingerbot .500

He really looked like some kind of android on a sci fi movie or series that had some bad programming or issue that would make him turn on the crew and hurt them.

I can put it very succinctly. Dak Prescott underperformed in three big play off games. Two against the 49ers and one against the Packers. The losses against the 49ers were very winnable with strong rosters. Imagine doing that in your job - underperforming and making mistakes on three separate occasions. Most companies operate a three strikes and you're out rule...whilst the Cowboys reward poor performance by making Dak the highest paid player in NFL history.

Whilst other teams learn from their mistakes and either build a strong roster around a competent young quarterback on a rookie contract (Broncos, Patriots, Texans and Bears - all will make the play offs) or pay a solid vet quarterback half of what Dak earns to help construct a competitive roster (Bucs, Seahawks and Colts - one or all will make the play offs) the Cowboys decided to pay Dak $231 million in guaranteed money over 4 years.

That's why Dallas Cowboy fans like myself sadly view the team as a complete joke and clown show at this point.

The problem with Dak is simple. The guy has been here a decade with not one NFCCG to show for it. I’ve been saying for years that this clown show is not working. How many more years do we need to waste on a guy that can’t get us over that hill?

I saw a video where they tackled Earl Campbell by the facemask alot with no call..lol I hope i got his last name right cause he's a legend...
All the concussion protocol rules changed so much as well.

WRs feared for their lives going over the middle, and helmet-to-helmet contact was totally legal. Horse collars were allowed. lol

QBs were not bubble wrapped like they are today either, obviously

He, without question has had bad games and especially in the playoffs with the exception of when they played TB12 and the Bucs. He looked all world in that one.

But as noted, it was not just him in those games. He indeed was part of the problem but not the only problem. The packers did so well against the cowboys defense in that game that it helped Love get a huge contract.

But players get contracts whether fans think they deserve it or not. If it was not on this team, it would be on another team. Just the way it is and that is not just for QBs. And while he or other cowboys players might be the highest paid player overall or for their position...that will change when the next big player gets a huge contract from another team.

Not going to advocate for a vet Cap like they have for rookies. But at some point they should have something that teams can follow that basically says that one players contract can't make up a certain percentage of the cap. But doubt that will ever happen.

What are his stats inside the 20 v between the 20s?
That's where the money is earned.
When the D tightens and the space shortens, does he get it done?
I think it was what, 4 times they were inside the Vikings 25 yard line and settled for FG attempts.

Those are the situations where the money gets earned and the legacies get cemented. Especially in big games such as last week's game.
