Another Dak thread. stats

Dak Is currently the leader in Passing yards.
3rd in passing TDs
5th in completion %
2nd in QBR

Did not realize he jumped to first place in passing yards.

He had no choice having tons of passing yards trying to bail out a bottom 3 defense every week. Just imagine how good the team would be if our defense was ranked 15th all year. We may have only 2 losses on our record right now.

But the pregame fear sweat isn't too becoming, when it's a big game. :(

Talking about a player sweating before or during a game is one of the dumbest things ever posted on this board.

Obviously some around here never played sports before.

In most sports, you're taught to "warm up", create a sweat so that your muscles are looser to perform. That helps prevent injury. Ask any coach or physician what will happen to people who don't warm up before a game/match and just participate.

During games, players run around and their bodies sweat more. Glad I can help explain things you all should have known since you were kids.

Some of it is survival these games you're constantly playing from behind because of your defense you never can rest you're always trying to push the ball and the reason they lost the last couple games they move the ball OK but it's stalled because of penalties and well the offensive line was horrible and they couldn't get their stars open quick enough to let these bigger plays develop into touchdowns..

yes when you're constantly playing from behind you're gonna have a lot of yards. Yes they still need to be able to move the ball He's really good at doing that but that's pretty much the conclusion I come up with it would be nice I think he'd give up some of those yards for a few extra touchdowns and keeping the scores under 25 it would really be nice...

I guess I'll have to type in bold when it's SARCASM?

Here you are...talking about it...lol.

Maybe some sensitivity training is inorder for you.

how many years has it been since cowboys won a game scoring less than 20? was it 5 or 6 years?
in the meantime
Eagles won a game 16-9 and 10-7 in 25 alone.
chicago won a 19-17 game
Rams won a 14-9 and 17-3 game
seahawks won an 18-16 game
Jags won a 17-10 game
chargers won a 20-9, and 16-13 game
denver won a 20-12, 21-17, 18-15, 10-7, and 22-19 games

there is a lot more, but you get my point....only in dallas we have to score above 35 to have a chance at winning, otherwise...no chance.

its all Dak's fault for not leading the team to 35 points per game.
What on earth are you talking about?

They didn't need 35 to win the games I pointed out to you.

They needed 20 and 24.

This year was always going to be about excuses for the Dakbots.
What really happened was that the Cowboys played a tough schedule, and neither the offense or the defense was ready for that. Dak got his usual big stats versus the weak teams, but he got outgunned by the opposing quarterback of the good teams.
The defense got bullied by good teams, but after playing weak teams this forum declared that the Cowboys were back!
When the Cowboys lost, the Dakbots who declared the Cowboys were back the previous week were quick to blame the defense for EVERY loss.
I wouldn't call Mahomes and KC or Hurts and Philly or Love, Parsons, and GB weak teams. The offense has averaged 29.1 points per game this season; they are #4 in points and near the top with nearly 400 yards per game.

The defense has given up around 30.8 points per game this season and are ranked #31. Through much of the season, they were last or near-last in points per game, total yards, passing yards, and third-down conversion defense.

That's not being a Dakbot, but we are talking HISTORICALLY bad on defense.

So let me get this straight. Pointing out all athletes sweating is a normal occurrence.... requires sensitivity training?

Maybe some common sense training is in order for you then if you didn't know that all athletes sweat before and during competition.

Those are great stat for Dak. How has that helped the team when we are 6-7-1?
If our offense has been ranked top 3 all year.... and the defense has been ranked bottom 3 all year....

Tell me what common sense tells you about why our record is what it is. Here's your chance to prove how intelligent you really are.

*(Here's another narrative killing question that usually goes unanswered)

I’m sure Dak would trade the stats in for wins and playoff success. Good for him though.

So what I see you saying is this is a team sport. No individual stats should matter if everyone is working as a team... And that I agree with...
Yep...stats are a funny thing, eh? Someone will say "it's a team sport", then proceed to post Dak is the passing leader in yards. "Dak doesn't pass it to himself".

I get it...track player results. But HOW you use them is...risky business. I look at context, and the history of the presenter, when possible. See if there's any contradiction or overt agenda.

Dak fans that prefer Dak over Cowboys are trolls with an agenda. It’s gotten worse the last three years too. I don’t think they’re actually Cowboy fans. They’re Dak fans who became Cowboy fans when Dak joined the team

Captain Crash and Mountaineer are some of the best posters here. Stop assuming being realists about this team means we like Philly. I’ve been accused of being a Commanders fan too. Stop the trolling!!!

It’s cool, I was asked were there no team in LA that I could root for? In the game thread last week. Meanwhile i graduated HS in Dallas. People are weird.
