Another myth exploded

I think Henson is a QB that he just needs game time. And when he gets it the game will come to him fast.

and learning for 2 years is going to better prepare him

but what does Parcells know?

anyone dumb enough to try and use Q to justify ANYTHING is not worth responding to. 40 years of SB's and just how many young QB's have made it there? Also just how much have those QB's contributed to that accomplishment. THIS year Roths has done it well- unlike last year.
BUT I keep asking certain people where are the QB's that we could have HAD that could do this? Henson and Romo?
I do not hear anything.

nope, it's a fact, look what we averaged on offense that year, 17 points a game! it was our #1 D and weak schedule that got us to 10-6, and the playoffs, not Quincy

Drew Bledsoe is the best QB we've had since Aikman, Parcells picked him

Quincy is no longer in the NFL, Parcells didn't pick him

and that my friend, was me schooling you in simple logic

Interesting. The weak schedule thing is not a fact when it comes to why we had a #1 defense but it is a fact for everything else. Make you your mind. Then come talk.

Yeah I can see how sittin on the sideline for 2 years in Dallas is doin a great job of gettin Henson used to what NFL speed is like and gettin his timing down with his WRs.

Maybe if we sit Henson another 5 years he will even be more ready then he is now. Great post.

sorry, more stats...

our offensive ppg in '03, under Quincy, 18.1

in '05, under Bledsoe, 20.3

now to your post...

what the frick are you talking about?!!

Some people here really like to pick and choose their facts.
FACT- JJ had BP promise to give the young QB's a chance. He did.
Q is no longer in the League and Hutch is where doing what?
Last year we were stuck with Vinny= unless you really think that Henson is all that. This year we have a quality QB. And will have next year.

I'm talking about drafting a QB high and winning with him. When has Bill done that in Dallas? Just because he inherited crap doesn't excuse him from ignoring young guns in the draft. Also, where's the evidence that Romo has been given a chance? He doesn't even get snaps late in the game. That's a fair audition?

Quincy Carter was never even given a chance to keep his job. Parcells just handed the job to his boy Vinny. Carter was nothin great but Vinny did nothin to earn the job.

So far all our young QBs have done under Parcells is sit around and do nothin. Even when we were KOd from the playoffs Parcells made sure to let Vinny pad his stats and Bledsoe do the same.

How will we ever know? Parcells wont play them, even in blowouts or a meaningless game like the Rams game.

Isn't Big Ben the guy Bill raved about last year? I thought he didn't know what he was talking about when it came to QBs?

Once again, bbgun posts one negative thread after another. I don't think I've seen a single positive post out of him.

Who was playing the other skill positions in 03

Your right. Big Ben is nothin special. All he did was make the big throws when he was called on to do it and had a QB rating of over 100.

I watched that whole game and saw how he could feel pressure and move around in the pocket and buy time to make the throws needed.

I guess Big Ben has to have a star on his helmet to be anything special.

Denver should have had two easy picks. Both poorly thrown balls.
Ben is a bus driver pure and simple. Quincy could make plays once in a while also, doesnt mean he was more than a bus driver.

A better question would be, when has he had the chance to do so? And at what cost.

Why are you so hung up on tone? I'm a Dallas fan, not an employee or booster.

The notion that Bill doesn't have enough time to groom and win with a young quarterback. Cowher just proved otherwise.

Carter didnt keep his job because he was a drug addict. What part of that dont you get?

Whoever said ignorance is bliss never read a wolverine post.

You don't need to know. Where is it said that you need to know? The people that need to know, know. And that aint you.
