Another myth exploded

I am a troll because I dont worship Bill Parcells jock like you do? That makes sense.

no, because you never say anything positive about the boys, I don't care if you bash Parcells, but at least do something else with your time, jeez

Thats the worst part of the Q deal, they knew he had a substance issue, yet they didn't address it, if you know you cant rely on your quarterback draft one, Byron Leftwich comes to mind

Jerry Jones seems to run his own Betty Ford type clinics.:D
Jones drafted Carter, no way he was going to admit his mistake untill he absolutely had to. I dont see how any one can blame Parcells for Carter.
I honestly dont see how any one can blame the QB situation on Parcells period.

hmm, we can't get in with a bad QB, or a good one, maybe we just need a better team then?

you....you...you mean that in 2003 our great Mike Zimmer defense carried us to the playoffs but the great Mike Zimmer defense of 2005 could not. Earlier in this thread you said it was our Defense that carried us to the playoffs in 03. Since our D was so great this year how come they did not carry us again like in 2003.

Wow...

No Myth

Steelers have a stellar D.

Steelers have a solid Oline and running game.
Roth does a good job in good surroundings.

Its simplistic to think cuz Roth did it "Henson" and all "Inexperienced QB's go to Super Bowls...... But if it makes you all warm and fuzzy go for it!

Jake stinking it up in second game.

exactly, if Jerry just took care of business, and started looking for the life after Aikman, before life after Aikman...oh what could have been

so you're going to tell me that our pathetic O of '03 got us to 10-6, but not a #1 D? ok, you're a..well..nvm

well, it wasn't our 21st ranked, scoring offense

cuz they couldn't get any help from the offense, although pathetic, wasn't as pathetic as the O led by Quincy Carter

amazing how you can turn any thread into a bash Zimmer one, you need help

btw, the '05 D was neck-and-neck with your boy, Greg William's D

Here are a few to dispute your claim. But I seriously dont see a lot of positives in this team right now and I dont like Bill parcells or his methodology. If that makes me a troll call me one, I'll label you a Parcells Jock sniffer. Untill this team becomes a contender I personally wont be satisified with good "stats".

pbthal said:
Then why are they still on the team? If they suck cut them and bring someone in. Are you saying that we have no QB worthy of being groomed as a starter? Is this what you are implying? Well heck, sign me up for the BP fan club right now.

They are being groomed. Just not to your visual satisfaction. Their team is not this year's team, not next year's team, but more than likely, the following year's team. A LONG TERM plan used on QBs NOT drafted in the top of the first round, but rather those that are undrafted and those that have played 8-9 college games and sucked at baseball and haven't played ANY organized football in 3-4 years.

And make no mistake, I'm not implying anything. I'll be as clear as I can here, noone owes you an open audition to meet your approval. Bledsoe is your QB for the next year, maybe 2. Romo is next. Henson's shift to NFLe isn't to see if he'll compete for a starter spot, but to see if he's going to get a chance to compete for a 3rd string spot.

Now, back to your whining.

So when are the Cowboys gonna start looking for life after Bledsoe?

Sorry, but that's still an indictment of Bill. Why didn't Bill provide Bled or Vinny with a good running game, O-line, or tenacious D?

what do you think they're doing? just sticking 2 youngins behind him for schat's sake?

How do we know they havnt found it in Romo or Henson. opps This is why most people dont like Parcells, he doesnt announce any thing to any body. Your claim that we havnt holds no more water to any one elses claim we have.

We simply dont know, either way.

Well gee thanks for your clarification, so let me see we have Bledsoe for next year, and possibly the next, at which time Romo will be a FA and never have seen a live NFL game. Henson will have had 4 years on the bench. Bledsoe will more thna likely retire leaving the Cowboys with Romo and Henson, or maybe by this time we can pick up Kurt Warner. Sounds like a dandy plan for the future. Glad they didnt waste any of that audition time on little ol me.

They are, you're just to blind to see it, because they won't show you.

No what I did was set you up for a trap and you fell for it cuz I am just like totally smarter then you are.

We had a top 10 defense in 03 and you said how that defense carried us in spite of our offense and Quincy Carter.

We had a top 10 defense this year and a BETTER QB and yet our so called great defense could not carry this team with a better QB to the playoffs this year like you said it did in 03.

You lose.

If Parcells is here in 2 years and Bledsoe retires my guess is he will go after Brunell or Warner or maybe bring back Vinny.
