Kevin Smith RB out of Central Florida

He had almost 1500 yards rushing and 19 TDs this year. Ripped apart Texas with 149 yards on 27 carries.

Mosley said the Cowboys were very high on him and expect him to be there in the late 2nd round.

Out of curiousity, what were his official Combine results?

I was literally just reading up on him on sportsline.com, and it said while he ran under a 4.5, his "official" time was closer to 4.6 area. At the Combine, on the big screen, a time of 4.4 something flashed up, but it was incorrect, according to sportsline.com. I think one of the knocks on him were his speed . . . .

I love this guy and he's getting NO love out there. That's just fine with me.... let him slide until our pick in the 2nd round. There is no need to draft a RB in the first round this year.... there is plenty of depth at the position.

Anyone with the name "Kevin Smith" can be on my side any time ;)

OK, here's the blurb on K Smith from sportsline.com.

"Smith appeared slower than the 4.4 40 times that flashed on the screen during the televised coverage of the Combine. In reality, Smith was electronically timed at 4.58 and 4.63, confirming scouts' concerns about Smith's straight-line speed. Considering this year's running back's class is so deep, the marginal speed could result in a significant drop for the ultra-productive back."

I'm just curious if this is true. I thought he ran a legit sub 4.5, but maybe I'm wrong.

Snoochie boochies.

Ok, back to the topic, I don't really know alot about this guy, except I remember reading that he was sort of a system running back, which explains the big numbers, and not big enough to make an impact in the NFL. Anyone watch alot of him in college?

Smith's official time at the combine was a 4.43. He measured in at 6'1 -1/8 and weighed 217 lbs. and had a 32 " vert.

what you need is a fatty, bo-battie blunt, I'll guarantee you'll see an ocean, a ship and some of those big-tittied mermaids doing that lesbian ****, look at me, look at me you sloppy *****

no, I haven't seen much of him, but Drew Boylhart's write-up on him wasn't very awe-inspiring, says he's a straightline runner, but he did improve his 40 to 4.43 at his Pro Day workout

I wouldnt be impressed with ripping apart texas for that amount of yards... Texas was not playing the best LB tandem it had... Texas didnt correct this issue until its Bowl Game

That's the impression I get as well. I'd take him in one of the later rounds, no earlier than 4th.

His official combine 40 was 4.43. Here's a few to compare him to.

D. McFadden 4.33
R. Mendenhall 4.45
J. Stewart 4.48
R. Rice 4.44
C. Johnson 4.27
F. Jones 4.47
S. Slayton 4.44
J. Charles 4.38

that sounds perfect to me........I want cb,wr,rb in that order so this will work.....UNLESS we can get DMAC.
