Another Top 10 Season for Romo

I agree. Yet it appears the only thing on this board that matters is Romo's stats. If you brought in someone from Romania who doesn't even know this game and had him read the board what would he come away with?

This Romo guy is talked about more than anything else.

Not saying he shouldn't be. But for some, it sure does seem that huis stats take the place of real TEAM accomplishments.

His individual play is going to feature prominently in threads with titles like "Another top 10 season for Romo." There are plenty of threads where we lament the status of the Cowboys.

True, but perhpas that's just in response to the apperance that the only thing that matters nationally is Romo's failures. I get tired of listening to the ESPN's of the world assiging records to the QB, saying Romo is such-and-such in these situations. He's either been good or he hasn't, but he's never really gotten much help from the team, and nobody talks about that.

Unfortunately, our team is on the cusp of missing the playoffs for the 4th consecutive season.

Forget about the 1 playoff win in 17 years, the reality of these cowboys is we haven't posting a winning record in 4 years. Something the dreaded Campo years can't even claim.

Add in a top 10 defense and a top 10 running game and Dallas would be Super Bowl contenders every season.
It's been mostly wasted otherwise.

When did I say anything about having to win Super Bowls? Elite QB's carry teams to Championship games, plural.. It does however require a complete team to actually win a Super Bowl more often than not....
