36 year-old Boldin>>>>>>>>>>Beasley.

That's '10 times better than' Beasley.

Marques Colston is worth a look, too.

He might be slower than Witten.

Yeah about 8 years ago instead of ROY FRIGGIN WILLIAMS. I love Bolden and would loved to have seen how things would have shaken out with him vs RW in 08'.

The person who is responsible for the Roy Willy trade should be tarred and feathered

I swear I was thinking of the same thing not long ago. I knew we could have had boldin for what we have for Roy. That was a terrible trade. He was worse than anyone could imagine once he got here.

Much less:

Boldon:
The Arizona Cardinals have traded receiver Anquan Boldin to the Baltimore Ravens for third and fourth round draft picks.

Boldin, who was entering the final year of his contract, agreed to a three-year, $25 million extension with the Ravens, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported. He has four years, $28 million left on his contract. The extension includes $10 million in guaranteed money.

Williams:
The winless Detroit Lions traded their unhappy 2004 first-round pick and one-time Pro Bowler for three draft picks, from the first, third and sixth round in 2009. Detroit also gave the Cowboys a seventh-rounder next year.

It wasn't just the loss of draft picks that hurt Dallas, either. It was the money Jones threw at Williams in the days following the trade. The Cowboys inked Williams to a five-year, $45 million extension with more than $20 million guaranteed.

No. He is a good possession WR, but this offense needs a speed dimension.

Travis Benjamin would have been nice I think but that ship has sailed without the Cowboy brass even having the slightest interest it seems.

First question to ask is how much did he make last year and what was his production?

Yes we need speed but route running is more important at this point or we will see Romo in a cast again.

man - you stretched your arm a good 28' to make these 2 points connect. whatever it takes to push an agenda i suppose.

I realize I'm not the first the to mention it, but I may be the biggest proponent for it.
Certainly should NOT pay a high price for him. Once his asking price comes down- whatever it currently is I'm sure it's too high. It doesn't appear there's been a lot of interest thus far for his services. The guy is a rare, exceptional receiver. Although he isn't the dominant force he once was, he can still play and play at a higher level than any receiver on this roster not named Dez Bryant. Would bring sure hands, a savvy veteran presence and tough-nosed approach to the receiver corps- much needed attributes. Romo deserves this kind of reliable presence/leadership on the field with him, for a change. Guy is probably going to end up signing a very reasonable short-term contract somewhere. I'm sure the Cowboys will sleep on it and miss out. This group of receivers is laughable and that's not going to change without a real & proven addition at the position. Aren't many of those guys available.

we have a better version of Anquan in Dez, we need a speed WR to stretch the field.
