John York is Denise DeBartolo York's husband and a retired Oncology Pathologist. His wife was panned for years for the way she ran the team after Eddie Jr. was forced to step aside. John has always been involved in medicine and academia, not the day to day operations of the 49ers.

He certainly is not someone who would discuss with the press whether or not a player was a problem or not.

Does he have interest in the team? Of course he does. I never said differently. But he is not now, nor has he ever been the person who would discuss whether or not he was satisfied with TO the same way Jeffrey Lurie or Jerry Jones would.
