How has a team full of young players paid off in the playoffs? Bobby Wagner would've been a great addition to this team but SJ thinks like you, young and cheap, that's why we keep getting what we're getting PUNKED AT HOME BY THE 49ERS!!!! Looking like they've never been there before, no leadership from the players. Home teams in the wildcard round went 5-1 guess who the 1 was?
Wagner is exactly what this team needed. Shame they care more about filling seats than winning games.

Anthony Barr reportedly not retired and generating interest from two teams

Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr isn’t hanging up the cleats just yet, according to KSTP’s Darren Wolfson.

The former four-time Pro Bowler still very much intends on playing football, and he’s also generating interest from a couple of teams. Per Wolfson, those teams are the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders.

While the Commanders have “kicked the tires” on a potential move to sign Barr, the Cowboys have seemed like the most interested team overall.

This might be his agent using the Cowboys to drum up interest in his client.

I would have been excited by this 5 or 6 years ago.... but hell, we probably could get better production out of Lawrence Taylor right now than Anthony Barr....

Seems to me that was a team full of overpriced, half hearted veterans. Would you rather have Collins, Cooper, Jaylon Smith or Parsons, Diggs, Lamb?

Parsons, Diggs, Lamb are the new leaders. Much better ones than the turds that left. Out with the old and in with the new. Its how things work in the NFL.

Sprinkle in some key signings at the right time. This isnt that time.

The question for me is what is he worth?

I'd say yes to a 1 year 5 million fully guaranteed deal, maybe some incentives that can be earned easy if he's actually healthy enough to play. Probably No to anything else.

He’s a guy who will still get his 8-10 million per. It just will be after injuries start to pile up in camp

Maybe. But he's also an injury risk. Though he will fight through small injuries they will still affect performance. Like I said smaller guarantee with playing incentives is ideal for him.

Spoken like SJ, we run this team like an accounting firm, you guys root for winning the salary cap. The bad part is that you guys eat up all the SJ madness. SMH
Lol wow, we’ll uh, you know uh, I uh heard of that name uh, so uh, we uh, should uh sign him uh, even though uh, he uh, hasn’t ever been uh, been all that uh, good and injury prone uh, but it’ll be different here uh. If it takes Steven Jones not signing, over the hill, injury prone, over 30 average players, and this not running the team like you have the “basic reasoning skills of a potato” then I’ll thank my lucky stars for him! Oh, and by the way, how many other GMs you see beating down his doors a week prior to TCs opening? Diggs is going to want to get paid after this season, but hey, let’s have a lot of dead money tied into a over rated, over the hill, average Sam LB… brilliant!

I that what you’re saying is the reason he remains unsigned!

26 Years Real football guys understand that constructing a roster has more to than just acquiring "young cheap" talent. This aint fantasy football or Madden, why do you think Bill Parcells bought in veteran player from his Giants days here? Those players were older but could teach the younger player what they've learned. Again, McCarthy said before the 49ers game that the team was nervous, this team has no veteran leadership and the vets that are here only know the "Cowboys Way" which is crap. They all looked like deer in the headlights but you just keep on giving the Joneses the stamp of approval and it'll be 27...28...29...30......

It won't take them long to get swallowed up in the Cowboys Culture, you know coddling, get your money because we can't win here. The leaders of the Cowboys has and always will be the Joneses, they decide who plays, they decide the culture and if an Alpha personality does develop they'll get them out of here.

Hired mercenaries sure helped LA get a superbowl last year. You're not going to win a superbowl through the draft only.

But let's be real. Barr's not coming here. He wants more than $2 million dollars a year, so we're not paying that. Expect some castoff from another team.

Guys like Zeke, Jaylo Smith, Cooper, Collins were part of that culture problem. We can only hope that Parsons and the others bring true leadership.

Hell he’s missed something like 25 games in the last 4 seasons!
He can’t stay on the field and is nothing special when he is on the field
But he’s a name fans recognize so we must sign him lol
