Recency bias. Brown's last game wasn't his best so its clouding your judgment. He has been solid and has made few rookie mistakes.

Wrong. I've criticized Brown since the 49ers game when he was giving up 3rd down catches. By the way, my criticism isn't just to Brown. He's a 6th round CB, it's to be expected. My criticism goes to our staff for YET AGAIN relying on rookie or young CBs when they know Mo and Scandrick are injury prone.

My annoyance is us not learning from past mistakes and continuing to repeat them.

He gets targeted a lot because he's a rookie. They aren't looking to go at MoC first when he's out there. Because they throw at him more he gets more tackles. Only Carr and Byron Jones have more tackles in the secondary. Nobody gets YAC on him. He's a definite find in the 6th.

I appreciate your words. But everyone demands a steak on every plate these days (as Bill Parcells said). If a player is not instantly top 5 at their position, then they stink. Or they are a JAG. Or they suck. Etc. etc. Wouldn't have that JAG on my FF team. Whatever.

Not every corner gives up 3rd down catches, not every corner blows coverage for walk in TDs, not every corner has a PI call that gives a team 30-40 yards and puts them near the goal line.

Let's just face it, Browns best games came during a stretch where we played 3 terrible offenses.

Brown is much better than Patmon ever thought of being.

And by the way, you brought up Brown in the Ravens and Steelers games. He was second highest ranked by PFF against Ravens and 5th against Steelers. Not awful as you are trying to claim.

PFF, for a guy they are routinely putting in the top 10, isn't even ranked close to the top 20 right now in PFFs rankings. Want to know why? Because PFF has raw statistics early on in the week before reevaluation.

Brown has been average to awful on the outside. He was decent to good (depending on the situation) as the nickel corner. Why this is controversial...I don't know.
