Any news on his hammy, how bad it is, or just watching it....day to day of course.

Also any news on the other hammy's, Switzer and Lewis.

This will be a huge loss of he misse time. He needs the reps. This kid needs to be on the Field. He was getting better as the year went on last year. It takes time and reps. If he is out for a significant amount of time it will not be good. This defense is bad enough.

Let's hope the reports we are hearing are true and it's only minor. But we all know hamstrings can be a lingering thing.

I'd sit him until the last preseason game... he'll be on the field as much as any starter. Need everyone ready for NY.

No, not if he's capable of playing.

Too many new parts in the secondary to let anyone sit because of the fear of injury or further injury.

The defense is going to be playing more zone than it has and learning zone is going to require reps... Lot's of them so guys recognize what's going on in front of them.

He needs both practice reps and the experience of a real game.

I disagree. The more reps, the better, for everybody, but Brown has already shown he can play in the regular season at a fairly high level. He's going to get better, no matter what. Him sitting more in the preseason only means more reps for younger players who might actually need them more. By the time the games count, it'll be the rookies we want to see with more experience, and not the 2nd year guys or other vets.

In my opinion the experience is invaluable. I rather see him on the field if healthy. He has a ton on work on to get better. His he improved but truth be told he could not have been any worse considering how bad the start was. I like this kid. I think in time he will be a servicable DB for us. So either way how it plays out I just hope it works out for us

We're talking about Anthony Brown here? I'm not sure what you mean by 'how bad the start was.' He's beaten expectations for a 6th round rookie pretty much since the day he walked into rookie camp.

I agree with you that it's better that he have reps, btw. Only saying I don't think it's a huge issue if he misses a week or so of camp. Especially since we've got so many young DBs to get up to speed this year.

Fair enough. I get your point. We'll taken. I just hope this kid is healthy. I hope he gets better after each game.

The impression I got from the reports was that Brown was taken out of the game as a precaution; and he could have returned if it were the regular season.

At any rate, the sky isn't falling. Zeke missed most of camp last year with a hamstring, and that turned out okay.

Don't worry, those hammy issues are usually pretty minor - Signed Miles Austin
Mr HowaboutThemCowboys--- I like the Miles Austin insert but who was the 4th round pick of 2012 i think?...Matt something?...safety...and for like 3 years he could not get on the field cause of hammies and they let him go and he never played again...but he was a beast in college..i think at Boise St?

man i hope Brown's Hammy is only tight and nothing else....Matt Johnson and Miles Austin were "Perma-hammy injury"....and it was always an issue

also Lewis and Switzer have never had hammy issues before and they are still out....but if you look at our overall injury report so far in comparison to the last five years

we are doing better than ever...hope we can keep it up and that all injuries are minor
