We all know Wade's intent to change and hold the players more accountable. Well, he got his first chance sooner than expected, I think. So what will he do?

If you were Wade, what would you do?

If I'm Wade? I invite him over for a slumber party where I make him rice krispy treats. We watch cartoons and then tell ghost stories. At about 9pm, I tuck him in and kiss him on the forehead. I give him my bed and sleep on the floor. In the morning, I drive him back home. We stop at Dunkin Donuts on the way there, he orders a breakfast sandwich and a black coffee, I order a dozen glazed and a large orange juice.

Fine him the max amount allowed ...... and then put him back to work (but deep in the doghouse)

He is a kid ...... he can still grow up.

A vivid and imaginitive way of saying "nothing"...which is exactly what I think will/should do as well.

I'm not a fan of this thinking.

At 24, he's a man. He might be immature, but he's no longer a kid. And the expectations of him should be those of a man, not a teenager.

I'm ok with the discipline, because that's about all the team and the NFL will do to him.

Wade has no say so in the matter.

Thread should be called..........If you're Jerry, what do you do?

BINGO.

First thing Wade probably does is phone Jerry and see if he handled Spencer in any way.

Then Jerry tells him Anthony was JIVING and this was a NOTHING INCIDENT as he did with his famous flunky Pacman.

Get rid of Greg Ellis and play this guy as much as you can... Playing Greg Ellis just slows his progression down, and his talent is unquestionable....

Agree with the first part, esp after the kiddie fine he got in TC for skipping rehab. Not the second. He's not a kid anymore, and as a result, he's responsible. Period.

Suspend him for the first game

If I went this route, I think I'd opt for the first quarter or first half instead of the whole game.

This is what you do in response to him getting arrested?

Call him into his office with cameras rolling and tell him in a soft voice how he needs to stop getting in trouble and tell him he hates to do it but he's going to fine him $100.00.

That should do it. It certainly seemed to get Spencer's attention this past summer, didn't it?. Sheesh!

Suspend him for the first game of next season. That will get peoples attention cause when you lose games, you lose money.

I think this gives the Cowboys more incentive to keep Greg. With the immaturity he's displayed so far, I don't think he should be simply given the keys to the car.

And it's not like Greg is playing for much in his final contract year. Keep him and have good depth at the OLB spot.

Was he really only fined $100? I remember the episode, but I don't recall Wade saying the amt. Just that he was going to have to fine him.

Spencer gave Wade a great gift ... The perfect opportunity to show everyone that his change to a more disciplined approach this year is legit. If he doesn't take advantage of it, no one is going to take him seriously.
