They have less cap room than the Cowboys, but it makes sense, Rob Ryan loved Spencer.

What is NO going to pay him. They have zero cap space. Maybe they will trade Brees to get Spencer. Makes sense and falls in line with the deals they have been doing this offseason.

It really does suck to see him visiting other teams.. I realize we'll lose him or maybe the FO is ready to move on, but Spencer has legit talent and he was starting to come around toward the end of last season as someone else pointed out. The injury he had most people don't come back from and if they do it takes awhile. Now that he'll be roughly two years removed from the surgery and another off-season to get healthy, I suspect he'll be every bit of the player we had hoped for. Unfortunately, another team will benefit from our patience. AND...I was born and raised roughly 45min from New Orleans..ugh. I cant stand the Saints and how arrogant their fans are. (If you talked to them lately, you'd think they won the SB last year) I had a feeling that Sean Payton and RR would go after him since they are in need of OLB's. I'd be willing to bet he has a good year this season. Oh well.. I like the player and he never was a problem. By all accounts was a model NFL player. I wish him well either way. Just wish he would come back at a team friendly deal considering the Boys stayed with him.. I know, I know.. its a "business".. I get it. But the Cowboys are on the verge of a championship(my opinion folks), I like to see him with us WHEN we do. Realistically though, Dallas has made some changes for the better on defense and they're not done.. So I'll just continue to "Trust the Process". GO COWBOYS!!!

At this point in his career, he needs to walk away from football. The further wear and tear on his body isn't worth the extra $1M vet min he can expect. Unless he needs the money for some reason. He shouldn't though.
