Of course there will be more 4-3 ends on the top of the sack total because the majority of the teams run a 4-3 good try though. Also there are 4 OLB's on yout list, ur boy Taylor plays OLB now.

He didn't last year.

And the numbers are still in favor of DEs (even proportianally - sp?). DEs simply rush the pass more often then 3-4 OLBs and will therefore, usually, have more sacks.

It's not rocket science.

1. Please, you know darn well you were referring to getting to the QB.

2. Virtual Pinata? WTH are you talking about?

3. I just proved a point. Take your beating like a man and move on.

1. We were referring to "numbers" that would get a player noticed by NFL scouts. You inferred "sacks" from that, ergo you appear to be a mouth breather who believes that's what's most important to NFL teams.

2. When people get really bored they slap you around cyberspace for fun for a little while. That makes you a virtual pinata.

3. The first one to claim some sort of "victory" is always the one losing and is almost out of ammo.

1. NFL? Thought you were referring to college.

2. If you say so, Chico. Go ahead and name one time someone "Beat on me like a pinata". Take your time.

3. The first one to claim someone is a "Pinata" has a string tied to him and is hung over a tree branch.

I was going to ignore this because it is moot, but....

It's proportionally and obviously math isn't a strong suit either. 3 of the top 10 were 3-4 OLBs. That's 30%. Do you really want to argue that more than 30% of the teams in the NFL were 3-4 teams? To help you with the math, there are 32 teams in the NFL, you'd need 10 of those teams to play 3-4 defenses to make your statement correct.

And two of those OLBs were with the same team (that lead the NFL in sacks).

If you really want me to get dirty, I'll dig up the thread from a year (or two ) ago where Adam wrote down all the statistical info of sacks between 4-3 DEs and 3-4 OLBs.

It's not difficult to understand, 4-3 DEs rush the QB more often and therefore get more sacks.

Shall I dig up the sack leaders from the past 3 or so years? Or are you ready to admit you are wrong?

9 of them are OLBs. 2 of them didn't play in a 3-4. That's 7 3-4 OLBs in the top 30.

1. I will type this real slow so you get it. The talk was how scouts look at school guys for the draft. You have to talk of both.

*** Notice the entirely monosyllabic sentence for easier comprehension.

2. Just in the last few days theogt and Stauntner have taken turns with the stick.

3. I haven't been in a full-bore argument with anyone here in probably a year or more. No one appears to go out of their way to slap me around.

Theo was (and still is) flat out wrong about that Bradie James deal. He knows it too or else he would of kept debating it. He just disappeared cuz he knows I'm right about it.

He even blatantly said that the RT immediately blocked to his left at the snap when it's blatantly obvious he did NOT block to his left immediately after the snap. The proof is right there on the video. Yet I was somehow the pinata there? Yeah, ok pal. The LDE did his job by drawing the RT inside which opened the lane for James to go through untouched. If YOU know anything about football you can watch it yourself. Go ahead, have fun.

And why would anyone argue with you? 90% of the time you're nothing but a cheerleader.

For the losing team, I might add.
