Antonio Brown traded to the Raiders

now all the Raiders needs to do is add a top RB and fill their offensive line with 1st round picks then we can have a fair comparison of Carr and Dak. Oh thats right Carr already had a higher completion percentage and more yards passing last season than Dak.
Just a couple years ago with better supporting cast Carr was considered one of the up and coming prolific QB’s in the league.

Gruden has been dumping some of his elite talent for 1st rounders but not his QB. Wonder why? Maybe Carr is the real deal.

Let’s see... who do I trust more. Jerry or Gruden? Lol

First off Cooper is just as good He just didnt have Ben throwing him pinpoint passes 50 times a game. So Brown and Coop are a wash to me. The Raiders got a first rounder and Brown but lost a 3rd and a 5th and dropped a MAJOR amount of money on this clown. Also Carr is dreadful.
Imagine actually thinking this

Brown is twice the receiver Cooper is. Amari does nothing better on the football field than AB

And that's the only reason he wanted out of Pittsburgh and into wherever the team was dumb enough to pay him.

I'd love to sell Gruden a used car. :lmao:

What do you think Cooper is going to cost on his next deal?

He "was". He's turning 31 in July, his best days are most likely behind him.

So Gruden replaced Cooper with Brown and his attitude. What's the over/under on how long it takes for that situation to explode? Will they even make it through training camp?

Chucky's gonna have a hard time doing his famous film reviews with a guy who won't even show up for the meeting.

The Raiders got the best receiver in football and a 1st round pick for Amari Cooper, and 3rd and 5th round draft picks.

They won.

No visible dropoff. He's still the best in the league until someone steps up to prove otherwise.

I won a couple fantasy SB's with the man in my lineup, his #'s and production were incredible but can he sustain those numbers at 31 with Carr at QB? I'm predicting some drop-off

Was?

Last season Brown had more catches yards and tds than Cooper ever had.

I swear this site has this weird mindset on “age” when it comes to certain players.

Moss
Rice
Owens
Harrison

All had multiple 1000 yard seasons after the age 31. AB will give Oakland good production for at least 2-3 seasons

It's Cowboys goggles. Anything that might paint the team in an unfavorable light has to be downplayed.

The fact is that the Raiders ultimately won this Cooper-Brown deal. Even as a Cowboys fan, I can see that. I can also accept it. Dallas did well in their part of the deal, the Raiders just did better.

Out with Amari Cooper. In with Antonio Brown.

They upgraded while turning their 3rd and 5th round picks into a 1st rounder.

The Raiders are laughing at us.

Don’t laugh too hard.

AB is a head case and he will quit on them the first chance he gets.

We will see.

Honestly trades don’t have to be a “one team wins one team loses” scenario. So the idea that the raiders are laughing at us, is just stupid.

Amari Cooper was well with the #27 pick in the draft. So the cowboys by all accounts didn’t lose the trade.

The raiders will get a boost from Brown too.

All that being said we won’t know the total story until 3-4 years from now. 3 years from now when AB is 34 and Cooper is 28 let’s see. Willl Brown be declining while Cooper is still in his prime?

Who do the raiders draft at 27? If they get a scrub is it worth it then?

But in all honesty what is with the fascination of having to say one team wins and one team loses a trade? I mean both are possible.

I'm hearing conflicting reports...Raiders may have gave up a 2020 2nd rounder...Anybody hear different?

:hammer: They get a 1st round pick, arguably the best WR in the game, give up a 3&5, and only lose a border line 2nd tier WR. Big win for the silver n black.

Let this sink in....A corporation just gave this guy 30 million dollars guaranteed....And people wonder why the world is going to hell?

AB's stats are going to suffer with the Raiders just like Randy Moss's stats suffered. Enjoy paying more taxes, dude. The Raiders are a mess yet we have people proclaiming them "winners" before they have done anything. The Raiders aren't in a position to do anything after the talent dump they have been doing.
